Account Reseting Page
Why was it taken back? But it should be back if there wasnt any problems with it so people dont have to ask staff(most of the time staff with reset powers arnt on).
|
Resetting from jail or ban. Too difficult to check the serveroptions for all applicable servers to make sure the player's current level is not a jail level.

Right, except that it didn't.
It had a lockout to make sure you weren't in police2.graal or globally banned, before PWs were an issue. But each PW has a different jail level, and each PW has local bans, then there's the added issue of players wanting to reset stats for one server but not another, and it got ugly fast. |
How about bringing it back, but you can only reset one server at a time? (It might have been that way, I never used it.)
|
How about no.... It was taken down with good reason. Unless they can make it work better, they shouldn't put it back up. Besides, its not like the webpage ever really had ALL the servers in the list at any one time. A lot of servers I wanted to reset on were never in the menu.
|
It shouldn't be put back up untill it can be made better so it won't allow players out of jail.
I don't know about other servers but on 2k1 like 90% of RCs have reset abilities and you really shouldn't be waiting to long for at least one of them to be on. |
there should be a reset waiting line. like if the player says /reset it would add their account to a waiting list. and disable adding to the waiting line if the players level is jail.
|
why not just script it?
torc /reset #a; poof they are reset |
Hmm, might be a good idea. Then people in jail couldn't access it, and I would do a million.5 "Are you SURE you want to do this?" thingies. hehe
