A very small preview for Providence.
 

Here is something we've been working on today. Yes I'm aware that providence originally had this. But I want to save the new stuff for the release. Any how the pic speaks for itself. Soon as we finish fixing a few bugs and the armor/sword system. We'll be ready to release everything. Including things never before seen on Graal. :)

Yea it does. Here is screen shot of one I"m not blocking. Lights are off so its not so bloody dark.

Meh. I'm really looking forward to Providence, but get somebody to whip up some graphics for those stats.

Graphics hmm? We're working on important stuff at the moment and stats bar is low on the list. Probably going with the old one. See below.

Wait I just realized. No thats not the level 1 bandit thats the level 4 bandit I'm blocking the level number of.

If you look at my inventory I have a new NPC. ;) I said very small preview. To let you know we have alot comming and we're almost done. Baddies are a big thing since we've had to remake everything from scratch. :)

Also if any one has idea's for Warrior Thief or Mage npc's spells items etc... Please post here and suggest them. :) We have about 3 or so for each class but we would like to have more released as wel.

theifs should be able to steal hp and mana, warriors should have things that raise there attack for a certian amount of seconds, and mages uhh yeah i dont know about them. thats about all i can think of.

I dont like the hp and mana stealing. Makes me think of vampires more than actual thieves. Warriors. Maybe they can buy amulets or something that makes there armor/sword level raise temporarily. Hmm... I'll look into that.

also, to make the theif stealing hp and mp non abusing, you can setup somthing so that when they steal hp it drains there mana, and when they steal mana it drains there hp.

not even like a weapon? like a blood dagger or somen for theifs that can drain hp from other people?

I hadnt thought of it like that. Perhaps after Providence is released we could start working on enchanted armor and weapons. They attack slightly less but have some magic thing into them. Such as Hell Armor (or some other name) Cuts Fire damage in half from spells and stuff. Blood Dagger Drains gives you the hp you take from opponent. But for enchanted armor the prices would be insane. XD

Also I have to give the thanks to my staff more than me. Especially Mido. I never realized he was such a good scripter. :) My main thing I'm doing now is making sure every one is on task and going around fixing tile errors etc.. and as always comming up with ideas. Trust me I have to fight not to talk about what we have so far. Especially the jobs and stuff. =X

I've never really played on Prov. But after hearing about this, I'll be playing for sure.

Common sense people. Dont bother me with useless stuff like this. You know who you are and I'd rather not name names. >.X

Also if you want to see something nice. You can see our drowning and swimming gani's that are currently out every where since it shows up on all levels with water etc..

Fix up the old levels, including that cave.

That cave is about the only level thats still the same. I've been debating wether to change it or not because its a classic. I mean its the orc cave with lvl 35 orc.

I dont understand why everyone is addicted to servers like UN and Classic, Providence is nice.

Is this a temporary release for the umn.... you know... *big release**? Yes, I know.

I remember trying to kill that stupid orc, but some hacker came in and killed it and it really pissed me off :(

Do you mean the three dimensional terrain? I do believe we scrapped that.

some of those are old providence levels =(

As for the cave I think we'll leave it the same. Although later on I might add on other levels to it so its a bigger cave.

The plan was never to actually use a 3d terrain but to make a 2d gmap. But its been giving us some grief so not sure if we'll ever get it up. Basically all it would be is everything we have now but as a gmap too. Which was already ok'd with Stefan.
