Comparing Strings

Anyone know how to compare a string with oyur account name?
like this:

if(strequals(#a,#s(string))){
blah blah blah;
}

that doesnt work, but you should know what I mean. If it does work, something is fuxed up with graal. Please help if you can, ITS ALL THAT IS BETWEEN ME AND TOTAL DOMINATION!!!
