Update on my server
 

Well, I've finally got it down that this project will happen. As for a name, well we haven't got one yet ;]

I've gathered information about many people and I've got down a staff list for current times. I hope to begin developing soon in the GFX/Scripting department. We don't want to start in levels quite yet do to the fact that new tiles will be made.

Management:

Myself - Brad:Brad - I make levels.

Levels:

Lamer - Lamer:Stefan76 - Lamer is a master of levels. He is former 2k1 levels admin and is very experienced.

Sabin - Unknown for now, still a maybe in joining the server. He was the first owner of Sanatrata and specializes in levels.

NPCS:

Jagen - Jagen:Python523 - Jagen is the current 2k1 NPC TEAM GUY and is experienced at scripting nearly anything. He will be a good addition due to the lack of scripting help in graal.

GFX:

James - James:Tom84710 - James is experienced in making roleplaying type graphics such as swords, shields, and medievel accessories. He was the first addition to the GFX Team.

Gabriel Gabriel:Lionel-Johnson - Gabe was told to me by James as a GFX person. James says he is very talented.

Tarns - Tarns:Hisdog - Very good with heads/concept art. Tarns is an unknown master. In the graphics forum he's shown to be quite good.

My team so far...if you'd like to join post or send me a forum pm. We know almost nothing yet of the server...either tomorow or soon the developing will begin. :)

What kind of server is it going to be?

James wants roleplaying bc of his experience with those graphics. We want to make an rp that will blow val away.

I'm dropping it to work on this simplely because Brad's staff is much better and we dont have that much done.

Sabin will probably join Brad's thing to. I'll talk to him about it on Thursday when i go to his house

Everyone wants to make an RP server, now a days. :(

It may be both, I don't know yet. We haven't even begun developing. x.x

Please don't make it like Delteria, where instead of having a meer "RP Region" you have a freeplay region. Delteria is poorly presented.

If at all, it will be NOTHING like that.

Good luck.. even though I think it would be better if someone would break from the "RP Server" chain, and make some crazy server that is 100% about gameplay or something. I mean, there are so many different things to do with Graal besides making an RP server.

Maybe a quest server...with actual quests and no kill baddiez lele quests

Eclipse/Krynn, more based on quests. Its not roleplay like graal2001 but more like final fantasy.

What about Police/FAQ/Events Administration? Will you have any of those?

Tip: Don't make events team, if you do, they should be merged with something else like Police. If you will make a FAQ, wait till your server is finished and actually put up (if it gets that far). Wait a bit and see who is on most often. For police, doesn't matter if you hire now or later, but they should have multiple purposes as well.

Am I Levels Admin?

Well, I assume. I got a forum pm about someone making tiles for us, as well as Cohn wanting to join the team. I told the tilemaker to make us some and I will rate them, as well as Cohn to show me some of his work because I know he's good.
