I'd tell you they were zombies, but as bezerker pointed out, Zombies are not very coordinated, which means they wouldn't be able to use a sword. So, for now, they are dead monsters.

is there going to be a new tileset made?
because those are nice but i don't think they would look good with the current tileset

most new tilesets look horrible.
