Submission: ¿Style Compition, are YOU the best?
 

Thats right, Not much goes up in a prize beyond getting recognition, or a house made by you on graal2001, or 8000 Gralat on graal2001.

This is the submission thread, not the discussion thread, only post here in the format that will be dictated below:

Okay, here are the rules.

Each Person is allowed only ONE submission

Doesn't matter the level type at all, custom tile sets are not allowed, but editing of a few tiles and adding them in with addtilefef2 are allowed, if its a major tile adjustment or addition, please forum pm me.

If the same style is submitted by another person, it will not detriment your score very much, but it will influence the overall winner of the compition

Remember that this is a contest of style, not the best path builder.

NPC's can be used to what ever extent, images, player npcs, lights .ect

No Cheating, meaning that the level must be new, at least not older than 4 weeks, so no submissions of old levels please, they do not reflect your style at this moment, but at a privous date.

Also with cheating, taking levels that are not your own and claiming them as your own, you will be disqualifyed and banned from partisipating in any future compitions (there will be manny)


Okay, enough with that, Prizes include the fallowing:
3rd Place: 1000 Gralat on Graal2001
2ed Place: 2500 Gralat on Graal2001
1st Place: 8000 Gralat or a playerhouse that you make for graal2001 (you pick the location, you make the outside, and two inside levels, and you own it, but rent is still included)

A note to the user, this is a full shot of the level, and the fire might look overwhelming, but when seen in a normal graal window, it doesn't seem overwhemling at all, yeah, I think I over did the fire :x

This is a simple coastal farming town, with their Capital Building in the backround. The night is brightly lit by their magical lamps that give off a pleasent yellow glow. The Capital Building is lit by fire for ceremonial, and traditonal reasons.


-I got the lamp GFX from Kelly aka Carramaena. and I made the board GFX used on the bridge myself, and the tiles on the roof of the Capital Building are just re-colors.

~The perfect playerhouse for the fisherman or simply a water lover, constructed over years this self sustaining home expands half on its own island and half over the grand ocean. The perfect home for one who is at peace with the waves.

~No particular comments, thought it came out kinda cool, but keep in mind its supposed to be a playerhouse. =D hope you enjoy!

Theme of level: this level is basically an enterance to a cave that has remained un entered for a long period of time and it is located deep in the mountains.

Comments: erm, i know there are probably a few errors but this is the best i could do, i'm not gonna make up any excuses because this level took me a while to make and i'm proud of it and tried hard but i'm just not that good at levels.
Anyways, here it is.

Theme of level: It's a Island for Pirates where you can rent boats and fishing.

This Level is a part of my Level (602x587p) and it's without Lights, Screenshot with F1...It's not my Best Work, if i get more Time, i'll make a new Level.

Age - 17
Theme - Your classic level with lots of detail and a spotch of originality, here and there. There's no lighting effects, but I did use a bit of graphics to make it more diverse. Actually, this is the level for my Playerhouse on Graal 2001. It's kind of like a grove, but the rooms elevated to trees.
Comments - I was bored and thought I'd submit. Doubt I have a chance in hell of winning this thing, but it would be nice. There's a green grass tile error in the water, I don't know why, but it always shows up in my levels. Sorry... :p

Err... I'm not really as much of a level maker as I am of a graphic maker, but hey, levels are fun to make ;).

It's only a little beach-type scene... nothing special... just pure nature and resedue from the nuclear explosion ;)

ALSO, sorry about the tileset... ughh... i set it once and it wont set back on this specific level... it works with other levels to change them back to the normal tileset but this one was just stubborn Xx

Theme - A nice [albeit unused] summer home, built for a lord. It is placed in a nice forest habitat, which includes many ponds, and a nice fountain.
Comments - To make the fountain look right I had to make an image out of it, so the lights didn't show through the shadows, and the pillars in front of the door are an image.

Theme of level: This forgotten castle has recently been rediscovered after clearing away the forest that had covered it for many years. Some of the forest remains, and as it has been repopulated, the inhabitants began to clear it off the building and have placed torches to show their inhabitance.
Comments: I totally forgot about this contest and just threw something together really quick after hearing mmmkay saying Birdbird wanted to close it Sunday. Also, no one really ever uses these tiles, so I just decided to use these.

Theme of level: A few scouts were out in a boat one day and found this beautiful patch of land. They decided to build a little house. They come here every summer, and everytime they come back, theres always a change.
Comments: I havent made a level since Febuary of this year. I have no experience with light effects so I decided to give it a shot. I just found about this contest 7 hours ago. I have been working on this level for 5 1/2 hours. I dont use images at all, its more of a challenge to use whats available in the tileset.
