P2P: Why buy?

People have been complaining about the ups of having a Pay To Play account. You get to play 2 servers, post on the forums, and get to play the regular servers.. Shouldn't Graal have more rewarding things for thoes who actually PAY their hard earned drug money.. err, hard earned money. I mean, the only reason I pay is to play 2k1, but the price is pretty high just to play one server....

So what does everyone else think? Should we have more rewards, or keep things they way they are? Or should we just lower the price of P2P? Debate this topic in this thread.

I figure eventually there will be more gold servers, like 2230 and Oasis and stuff.. plus by that time, 2k2 will be better. (I hope)

Price should stay the same because...

1) Graal needs the money to remain in existence
2) It is still cheaper then console games, and 2K1 is much better then any console game (Excpet may be SA2B :o)

I didn't upgrade my account, I am only benefiting from the account of a smart player who stays off the forums.

Upgrading your account is well worth the money. :)
You gain lifetime access to Classic playerworlds, access to Gold Servers, a forum account, a graal2001 email account, the ability to post news and screenshots on the GO website, and these "personal playerworlds" Stefan keeps on mentioning. :D
I don't quite understand what you mean when you say that the price is high. Graal is a lot cheaper than the majority of the other online games out there, and has some of the best features I've ever seen for an online game. (Development tools, the ability to create and manage your own playerworld, the ability to easily communicate with the managers, etc.)

If you dont wanna pay and you wanna play a fun game play CS, I personally think it is better than graal. It is alot funner. just cost like 40$ if u buy it from store or you can download it for free but why would you do that

Yeah. I must admit building levels and scripting is neat, but the communication with managers is not all that easy, and my @graal2001.com e-mails are screwed.

The only question is, how long is that "lifetime" access? I'm betting, at this rate anyways, Graal won't be around much longer. It's becoming less and less innovative, more and more boring and repetitive though.

You could just buy Half-Life which is $40 Canadian and download the counter-strike mod... there are also many more mods for Half-Life.

Beowulf:
You have horrible taste in games. SA2B sucks and does not compare to Morrowind, FFX, GTA3, or Halo. Please get a lobotomy so you can not operate a computer anymore and we can all be spared your insight on the gaming world.

BeoWulf is right, Halo is a high quality game. It is just awesome ,but, I HATE THE FLOOD!!! i can't wait till you can download new levels and junk off the internet i am getting bored of the same levels. The Maw on Legendary was a sinch
