help me improve please

well i decided to start and try my luck at graphics. this is one of the first big things ive tried to do, so please do not flame me. i still need to work on the grass a bit and the fence, donald helped me fix em up.

Those posts look way too flat, and the house top windows just look weird.

You're getting help from Donald? No offence but donald is still an "amature". Getting help from someone more experianced would be better.

The grass is too repetitive. And the posts look flat, and plastic.

i have gotten help from others. crimson showed me how to do alot of graphic stuff. i made the house really, donald made the fence. i tried to go for like a siding look for the house(like todays houses, well mine has white siding, not brick)

Yeah, you can tell donald made it, it looks like all he did was take his stone tile and cut it into that shape. Re-shade it to look like light is coming from a direction, like only make one corner darker, and the oposite corner lighter.
