Well, why do you people tend to use the levels forum in such a weird way? Its not the show off/ ratings forum, can't you guys find some other way to discuss levels besides the soul use of rate this .ect?


Also, keep the bashing to a minimum, next time It Gets out of hand that person gets banned.

Isn't that what it's for? To show off your talent to others?

mmmmkay: Since there are barely no threads which are like "Hey, is a cave with water tunnels and baddies a good diea etc.," or level help threads like "hmm, I can't get this castle to look good, anybody care to point out what needs to be done?" we have been forced to make 'rate this' threads.

Rate threads usually double as help/suggestions, so if you cut down on the bashing then I don't see the problem.

I hate it when people say "Well, I just found this level lying around, only took me a few minutes to make because I was bored" and they ask for it to be rated . If it was just "lying around" and took only a "few minutes" then don't post it. Chances are, you tried hard on the level and you want to have an alibi in case if it gets a bad rating.

So make contests or something bird bird. Like best house best inside level etc... Style contests.

it would be a great idea to have like a contest every 2 weeks or something, and then people vote for the best, the one with the most votes wins

i think that should only apply to things like "I DID IT BLINDFODED!" or that "ROCK WORLD" or "GOD GIFT OF MOUNTIAN" those it should apple to but not to the others

That's what I would think. Levels forum is to show levels to other people and get some advise. Rating just goes hand-in-hand with that.

Instead of "rating" it should be commenting and critiquing. If you comment someones level negatively, then you have to explain how to make it better.

ya..people going "your level sucks" or "it has tile errors" is beginning to piss me off, personally your critique means jack **** to me if you dont tell me whats wrong.

"it has tile errors" IS a reason, stop being so anal.

But it doesn't go much further than that, it just states the obvious, not helps it.
