Ok, basically I am looking to go into a playerworld project with someone that is an awesome NAT...
I am a good LAT...(meh thinks) and I know lots of good LAT's and NAT's that could help (from delteria).

It's going to be VERY hard to get good help by only posting what you posted. You'll have to post information about the PW Project, make people want to help you. There aren't a whole ton of GOOD NATs and GATs around.

OK basically there are going to be two MAIN lands....
one which will have teh main storyline and all teh heart quests..
and anotehr which will have playerhouses...minigames...and teh non-rp aspects of graal! I can build a lot of teh levels...
I almost have someone who already did the class house..
When you go into the Class house You have to divide up a certain amount of numbers into like 5-6 catogories....
like strength...intelegence...and stuff like that...
depending on how you split up your numbers decides what class you get....this is just a small start...i know...but with the right help...i think it cud go far!

Heh, like 1 island is a ff7 island land place thingey ma jigger. And the other island is a graal sucky ass pw, :) I see now! NOT.
ff7, graal, and Diablo2 dont go well together guy:o

Just make 1 main land with everything on it. It would make the quests harder b/c it's a bigger amount of territory to cover to get from one place to another. And good luck with the stat points, I tried doing it and it resulted quite glitchy/laggy. Other than that your idea is fine.

Well....basically...what i think...obviously....that can make a good server good is its storyline....especially...if it is a SET storyline...not
just go around and get any quest at any time...ya know? i will have to work long and hard on the storyline before i start teh rest of teh level building!

Thats what I mean set up a FF7-base quest system. Talk to joe, joe tells u to talk to sally ect..

You may have to do part of the server by yourself, then be able to show screenshots off. Hopefully screenshots will amaze people enough to want to join and help you ;)

yea jinx...i know...well...i tell you what....i will make the onlinestartlocal over...
btw...yea...teh idea about FF7 is waht i was goin for...i think it is a good idea and no server has really done it successfully...such as certain places dont open up till you defeat something else because of a giant explosion (juss an example)
but i will have to write out all teh storyline before i go to make my entrance movie and OSL...

basically i have a better-than-most NAT working....but need more like him...and/or one exceptional NAT....

Damasca was SORTA like that. You kill the dragon, you get the dragons head and can go attack Trunker. Then you'd get access to this other place, and so on.

Mykel, i cannot see you as a PW owner, your an ass and i can just see how corrupted you would be, and no you arnt a great LAT. I doubt your server will pass and knowing you you are only going to enlist people with the surname Drakken. gl anyway.

True that you're only in the level one time, but im guessing this is a starting level people when they log onto you're server will see.. well that, its not very nice or original and this is how they are going to think of you're server by the first level.

The stat thing isn't bad but doesn't help make the level nicer.

In other words you want to have a good first impression, ;D

yea...it helps a lot...if you get a good first impression...a good movie helps to (at the start)

A good movie is really good. I am currently reviewing Cynical and Renegade, both have nice starting movies(although one isn't quite a movie...)

Something that makes a cool text movie type thing...
use
showimg 1,@arial@YourServerNameHere,30,30;

then loop it in a timeout with a changeimgzoom
and changeimgcolors based on an incrementing
variable adding .01 or .1 to it each time.
when its done you then warp the player out to the
first town or whatever.
