Another Playerworld project
 

Hello, Some of you may know who I am, some may not. I am benpoke103. First Let me introduce myself. I mostly play Shaded Legend for all of my time on graal. I have been playing graal since September 9th of 2001, and now after awile playing graal, I thought it would be cool to start on a PlayerWorld Project :)

The name of our playerworld is called Insentric.

Here is the basic storyline.
You are a digger, looking for the ancient treasure: Insentric. You are against your rivials searching for the mysterious treasure. You find a map. You also find a scroll that says: "To find the Insentric, you must bring the 4 ancient keys to the island of Kalango to get inside the tomb that holds the treasure. Insentric is capable of..........." *you fall asleep* Then the rivals come and try to burn your map! They copied the scroll and map! You wake up and save the scroll. But, the map is burned in certin places. You continue your search for Insentric. Hoping that you will find it..........

We have a site up, but our Hostee is going to get a new domain and when this happens we will have a different site. Our current link to our site is

they arent, i didnt make this town to let ya know :P my assistant did, TTTackler. Plus he made this town awile ago, we plan to fix it up later on.

We have a lot planned, I am making the second town right now, and the quest is gonna be pretty hard too :P.
What we plan to do is:
Make 13 heart quests
then you can do the 4 key quests to get the Insentric. (As Described in the story)

I will be working also all day during the summer, I havent been able to do much work lately because of exams and all. School lets out June 19th so I will be working 9hs+ everyday on Insentric.

right now im working on a quest that is gonna be like an Adventure game, Like find keys to stuff for rooms. We are going to make all the quests very challenging. Its basically a RPG server with pking, events, and everything a normal server has.

They are nice, but make a new tileset...I'm beginning to see parts of the graal tileset flash before my eyes....hideous :(

If you have baseball how are you going to work 9 hours?....and 9 hours....thats insane...you need a life...and the levels....ICK!(i know they need to be fixed up but right now...they are ICK)

He's stating his opinion. He could of been less harsh, but when you post about a PW project you're working on you want people's ideas on your work. That's like spoiling a child.. When you see a child doing bad you dont say good work!, You tell them what they need to do to do it right. Now If everyone told this guy, Good luck! Looks nice so far! You'd be lieing, which would eventually lead to the failing of the server. He'd submit thinking his levels are great, because to him they might look great. He needs peoples opionions, not just the good ones.

The levels are average. But you said you are redoing them so they should turn out good if you spend some time on them.
Dont worry about making the levels amazing though.
Some servers make great levels but spend too much time on them and the other parts of the server end up lacking somewhat.

You want a mix of

-Good levels
-Good original npcs
-Good storyline
-A fair ammount of quests
-One or two other things that you can do (events, jobs or something)

At least you havent come on saying
"This is going to be the best server ever!!!!! We rule!!!"
or
"We have the best level maker and npc scripter in the whole of graal"
or stuff like that.

If you keep working on it then it should turn out quite good.

Uh.. yeah, whatever. You don't tell a child "9 HOURS>! U NEED A LIFE."

Those screenshots remind me of my first levels. Yes, many years have pasted since then.

gah i said id work on it 9+ hours a day as an expession not as a true statement :O In other words ill be working real hard to make this server one of the best. Plus I am working on a quest right now that is going to be a puzzle/adventure like through the whole thing. It will be kinda like a RE (Resident Evil) Quest or something like that hehe :)

Ok I will put my 2cents worth in ,
first off I noticed the old wore out "red leaf tile" used everywhere on classic and I believe was one of or the original floor tiles... dump them .... they are bland and ugly and will do nothing for your server but say "hey noob levels" and you certainly don't want that because some of what you have here are in the right direction you want.Next please get rid of the "chickens" they are a illegal gif from Zelda and would be cause for you to be denied by PW Admin... Otherwise you are on the right track so good luck on your server to making it a good one...;)

I personally don't really like all the new servers with new tilesets. That's why I don't really like 2k1 or 2k2, because it doesn't really feel much like the graal I am used to. It doesn't really seem to fit the game. but that's my opinion, and I know other people have different ones(I don't want like 30 replies, saying that i'm dumb because i think that)
