or if somone had a whole tileset taken form a game like Link to the Past or EarthBound. That would look awsome. But too bad all that stuff is copyrighted. :(

I think a mix between the two would be nice.

That's strange, I don't believe it ever was on there. At least I can't remember seeing it last I checked it.

mise well just advertise that you have it.

Here is what I say, instead of creating a new tileset in the sense, you should just create about 1500 preset items that you can chose to build with, all being 100% original and kickbutt, and all having all your different ideas in it. That way you wouldnt have to build square by square. Sure it would take a much longer time but It would be worth it in the long run.

new tiles do not always make a better world. i would rather have a server with all the default stuff with great content rather than a server with new tiles, etc., with shitty NPC's.

I wanted to do this, I like the old tileset.

That was Asterias first idea, i emailed stefan asking, i got this long lovely letter

But Players could always use the old one like Lord Chimp does.

hmmm...i made a tileset like that, half 2001 tiles, half old-school zelda 3 tiles...
i was going to use it for my pw, then i found out that pw's will be shut down or failed to begin with if they're caught using any zelda tiles, so i dont think it's worth the chance...
but, i do like the old tiles, they're just so pixilated...they could use some updating...
