Regarding Kingdoms/Kingdom Islands
Lloyd:
About Kingdoms: Each Kingdom member should get a tag for their Kingdom that is automattically added to the end of their name no matter what, unless they have a staff/sub staff job such as School Teacher. Once this has been done, each kingdom should be given some time to decide on their leader(s), then the leader(s) should assign ranks to each of the members. This should all be done before the islands are available. About Kingdom Islands: This is what I think should happen with what Pir posted on the Main Forums. After all of the above stuff is done, the staff should make an "item bank" for each of the kingdoms. Players should be able to ship their items off to their island, where it will be stored for the future. Then kingdom leaders should get someone to plan out what will go where on the islands(towns, houses, ect) and make a "map" using a template that is given out by the staff. (The template should show the location of the default things like the castle, port, ect.) Once the islands have been created, the person in charge of plotting out the island should get a team of workers to build the houses and stuff with the stored materials exactly as the map he drew said. Only the worker team should be able to build houses(and the leader), except there should be something like a "one house limit" for normal people. Once all that is done, a team of "renovaters" should be hired to put furnature inside the houses. |
Yeah - no fair taking off your kingdom tag. ^_^

Buildings:
Name-Requirements|To destroy Small House- 50 boards, 25 stones|100 with an Axe or Pick Medium House- 100 boards, 50 stones|200 with an Axe or Pick Large House- 300 boards, 150 stones|650 with an Axe or Pick Fence(6x2)- 25 boards|50 with an Axe Wall(2x6)- 25 stones|75 with a Pick Market Stand- 25 boards|50 with an Axe Lumbermill/Crafting/Baking- 75 boards, 50 stones|250 with an Axe or Pick I know the requirements look like alot, but if you look above, I stated that lots of people should ship supplies to their kingdoms, and only a few workers would be making them. Another suggestion would be an "HP" system for the houses. If someone is attacking something you built, you should be able to go to it and start fixing it, if one of them was attacking(doing about 5 HP damage to the building a second), and 5 of you were fixing at the same time(adding about 2 HP each), then it would be an endless cycle...You should be able to fix it by taking away 2 boards and 2 stones a second. |
Attacking Weapons:
Name- Requirements|Damage|HP Battering Ram- 3 logs, 5 boards, 4 stones|1 hit= 5 axe hits= 3HP|30 Mobile Blade- 10 blades, 5 boards, 4 stones|1 hit= 5 pick hits= 5HP a second|30 Catapult- 10 boards, 4 stone(+1 each shot)|1 hit= 7 axe/pick hits= 10 HP|50 Chariot- 50 iron, 4 stones||500 (holds 5 people) |
Peacekeepers:
A group of "peacekeepers" should be created. These people should not have a kingdom and their bodies should be different from everyone elses(like Pirs black robe, I WANT IT!!!). They should sail the seas in fast boats(to get around quickly), travelling to each island and learning about their problems, like "The Samurai are cutting off our food supplies", then they should try to solve this, by doing something like bringing an offering to the Samurais(like 50 gold a day) to make them stop. |
You forgot
PeaceKeeperAwayers Oh wait. We have those already. Whats a mobile blade? =/ |
The Kingdom leaders have been already decided
|
Peacekeepers? Gnu, the kingdoms should defend themselves....
|
I want one of those ballista things, you know, the giant crossbows on wheels... and Frying pans... can't forget frying pans...
|
Instead of Peacekeepers, just make a 'Central Government' tag, for anyone wanting to help out. They'd still live/work in their own kingdom, but they would live on the ships, travelling between different kingdoms to help out. Yes, the same general idea, but it just sounds too much like the peackeepers were thrown over the fourth wall, unless they're just normal people, who happen to work for a government agency.
And as for uniforms, you mean like creating a 'Graalian Military' or something? It sounds more your idea. The way you have it, you could just as well call them GPs. Unless the players can just sign up during the game, it dosen't make sense. |
