Picking up arrows

I like the idea how you can pick up arrows after they have fired at you, but there is one problem. If it's a direct hit, do you really think the guy is going to rip it out of him and stick it back into his quiver? I don't think so.

Make it so you can only pick up arrows that have not hit a player.

Edit: Could the ticking noise also please be dealt with accordingly? If there are going to be a line of archers on a hill aiming down at the enemy, hearing one tick is enough, hearing 5 or 6 will make people go mad.

they have bows and arrows on g2k2 now?

Arrows do disappear when they hit someone, but sometimes the script is buggy and an arrow appears anyways.

Yeah, the ticking should get gradually softer or something.
And it'd be cool if you can catch the arrow if your karate skill is high enough or something.

I like the idea of tearing arrows out of your body and using them in combat....I think it happened at the end of Black Knight, but I'm not sure if he used the arrow. =/ oh well it's a good idea

Why would you not tear the arrow out of your body? "Gee, I think I will just leave it in, I look nice as a pin cushion!"

I see nothing wrong with picking the arrow off your body and using it.

They should stick in there and wobble around until you pull it out >) and before you pull it out, you are slower, and once you pull it out, your a bit faster (walking). Being hurt should slow you down.

If that was true, swords would nearly kill/kill you in one hit. Now when you add armor and stuff, and magic defense, then you have a solid arguement as to why it's okay to get hit with a sword dozens of times and still be able to run around and attack. :)

Thats a good idea,

Damage relates to speed

No Damge full speed (normal)

Depending on how much damage you have you go slower and slower
untill around the point of death your laying on the ground
