Double Click .nw files
How do you do it so when you click a .nw/.graal file it opens the level you cliked on in graal?
I remeber someone posting how to do it not so long ago but I can't find the thread. :( |
i would also like to know badly
|
Well if you double click on it a list with programs should show up (Win 9X), if you're using XP, select "Select the program in a list", anyway once you have the list, there is either an other or browse option there, in that find your Graal.exe (Default: C:\Graal2001\Graal.exe), double click it and it should appear on the list, then check the box next to "Always use this program for this type of file", now Graal should automattically open those files.
You'll need to do it twice, seperately, for both types of file though. |
How I did it:
Find the file and click on it. When it says Open file with: choose graal.exe (hit browse then choose the Exe file) |

I think it depends with what OS you use.. I use XP but I've never really used Win98 So I dunno.. :(
|
Its easier in other OS then XP, XP wont let me do it witht he open with menu, i have to do it manully. In other OSs all you have to do is double click, a open with dialog will pop up. Find where you have installed Graal , "C:\graal2001\Graal.exe" , click the program Graal.exe , then click ok. Thats it
|
rightclick then select open with, and then select Graal.exe, then make it so that it always opens with it :D
|
Wolf: If your on WindowsME you cant do it. Alot of things are messed up if you OS is WindowsME. Pitty me...:(

I got WINDOWS 98 S.E.
Double click the file and a screen will open up to choose what to open the file with. choose graal.exe
Only problem is with the old versions they opened up perfectly fine. Now with the new version it opens up with a shortened filename and ending with ~ just before the file extension. It also saves as a new file. Weird :/ |
Hmm.
How would I do it if the file opens in a text file? I want them to open in the graal exe but open with isn't there. :( |
hold shift down, rightclick on the file
if graal isnt in the list, click other, find the graal.exe, click ok, make sure that the box is clicked, where it says Always use this program to open this type of file click ok ;) |
