Tileset in the making, LOOK
 

Okay, I took a screenshot for a tileset I am making. How does this look?

I went through the same problem when I started making grass. Its repeating itself too much, try making other tiles to go with it.

Okay, then how would I be able to make them connect to the other grass tiles if I made custom ones?

The house boards are good, I cant wait to see the house finished. The grass sucks but thats easily fixed. If you IM me on AIM i will teach you a trick that was taught to me for the same purpose :)

Okay! I still havent started improving the grass but here is the house. I still need to finished the top of the roof, but how does this look.

I plan on using this for a "project" I am thinking of.

Yeah, I know, the grass sucks bigtime. When Lord Helmut gets on I will talk to him about fixing it.

the grass doesn't look right with the shadow

How does this look? This is some grass Lord Helmut made so it isnt mine but he said for me to use it so he could see what it looks like. I will change it soon.

Still patern-ized, there is a dark line!

Not bad, its getting there. :)

the quest for perfect grass. don't make it to light, and don't make it too dark. konidias is trying to make some 3D grass, try it. it's hard too do. :p

There is a line on THAT grass but on the grass I made there isnt. Its extremely strange to me why that looks like that. Im gonna get him to give me the tileset and im going to make him nice grass. If you want to know how I will tell, It was taught to me by Zen a while back.

Alright, I will post it in a little bit. My eyes are hurting and my first day of work is tommorow so when I get home I will post it

lol grass isn't hard ,but keep up the good work u'll get there eventually oO and the grass is to light I always found that darker colors look the best and are easiest on the eyes. It also helps in my opioion if the grass is 32 x 32 dun have to be but that's how i made my grass , and high grass

Ok well I redid the Grass tile for you.. In the image you will see the tile itself and a 6 x 6 tile to demonstrate the combinations of the tile. :)
