2k2 has already lost my interest.
 

I know it's an alpha version, but this has nothing to do with the server, more like the people that are staff on it.

I worked hard getting all the items and stuff on 2k2, and then I got on today to find out I had been completely reset. I'm guessing Er1c did it because I had the preview ring. Staff that delete all your stuff because you got one item you didn't even know you couldn't have, ruin every Graal server they go on.

I'm not going to play 2k2 alpha at all now, thanks a lot stupid staff. I hope Stefan knows he is losing customers when he hires kids to admin his "gold" servers. :(

Not many mature people play graal. I don't think Er1c would do that. My first pitstop would be deleteing the item. Hey, Since the preiview ring is obsolete. Why not delete it off the server? *shrugs* ohwell. Sorry this happend you to koni, but please don't blame people, the blame game is never really all that fun.

But Gonmon stated a day or two ago that Er1c was resetting all accounts that had "illegal items" so that is the only thing I can assume happened. I doubt it was a glitch, I had it "reset" me before, yet I still had all my stuff. This was like I have never played 2k2 before at all except my hours.

There is NO way I'm going to play the official 2k2 when one day I could log on and have all my stuff I worked for gone in the blink of an eye because of some staff member.

I think I will just stick to making my server so I can actually have somewhere to play that doesn't have bad staff. :(

I'm sick of 2k2 also... It is boring and all it does is attract classic players :rolleyes: ... So The gold servers are starting to become a
"TO PLAY GREWL U GOTS 2 PK" type server. I play on 2k2 because that is where Dustari is... even though there are no kingdoms there -_- I dont even know why they released 2k2 when the Kingdoms aren't even out. All you do in it is work... there is no money or anything. All I do is sit in a tree all day. That is why the staff should rather boost up on production... or close the server down untill it is done :(

I definately agree with you on that.
2002 was supposed to be a role-playing server, but the staff just treat it as some "fun land". Yesterday when karate was released I thought it was going to be something that took skill, something that took a long time to actually get better at. Instead, Pir made a competition out of it. First one to master the art of karate gets a prize! People knew all the moves within 5 minutes. That's not fun at all!

I just dont like most of the players that are on it. I mean not all are bad some good people. But where did all these idiots appear from? Its not just people from Classic because I play classic now and again. Also personally I like the normal tile set. I know alot of people think its ugly and stuff. But I think its great. :) You can do lots of stuff with it if you use you're imagination. I'll probably stick to Playerworlds like providence (when the overworld is fixed which is very soon)

The accounts of all people (even me and the staff) has been reset to give all people a fair play, also there are functions for not allowing items that are not available yet. It wasn't some staff player who has reset the accounts. Also we plan to reset items again soon, it's in alpha phase, the items are not meant to be forever. The skills will be changed, the items changed totaly to have more functionality and depth and security. That will already be introduced in a few days. Of course the fighting and weapons skills and jobs will be more advanced, on Graal2002 we currently release things we have already half-way finished, but that doesn't mean it will be forever like that. Of course there will not be a gralat game in the final game. But the staff is doing good work with entertaining the players, so that they can enjoy the game and its progress even when it's not finished yet.

Er1c was a jerk and wouldn't upload my custom body, because all the regular bodies are CRAP and I cannot stand those ugly flat trees or the bad music so I do not play it either.

Ask Pir, he uploaded my rat head even though it was pretty crappy.

The staff (beside the company people) we currently have on Graal2002 are very good. Pir is making levels and ganis, Eric is scripting, Garel is making gfx, Bird is something helping too. No one from them has reset peoples accounts.

the guitars are "okay" but they just don't fit graal.

the bodies have like ten different things that go onto them, so it's pretty hard for me to remake my body115. I'm not that good at copy and paste.


I like these trees better than those old palm tree ones.

What about the snow music and the music inside the house?
btw we have more music which we will release from time to time

I got my account reset...sure I was slightly mad about it..but hey its a game and its a alpha test. I've played several beta tests for games. Resets ALL the time on closed beta games...smallest bug that can cause disruption in the game...reset everybody

Game called Battletech 2250...had alteast 3 resets while I was playing and I have a pretty damn high mech pilot. The nice thing they did for us was to allow everybody to buy and play with all of the mechs to not only let us try the mechs we always wanted but to test the mechs aswell I believe. If you don't want to play and get reset and lose what you worked on, stay CLEAR of beta games wait till they come out if you think you just wasting your time.

I haven't been there.

It shouldn't of been released its a alpha your lucky you get to play so early in the games development...most companies allow player invlovement near the end of the development (open beta)


I think the only reason stefan released 2002 was because everybody was all RELEASE 2002 OMG OMG RELEASE WE WANT IT NOW

Well, I think the music with the electric guitars and drums like some bad rock song isn't good for Graal.

And I think all the trees look pretty flat. I liked the ones from the old test that were planted and could be cut down. Maybe trees should only cover a couple areas of the map. It's kind of annoying to have them everywhere.

I don't really like any of the new bodies, so I made my own that looks like body5.png (with the vest)

I don't think THAT'S true, Graal 2002 has more to do than 2001 practically. It was definetly ready for alpha release (it's a lot more complete than 2001 when it was released)

sorry konidias, i am the one who reset your account. I did it because we have done it to everyone else's who has had the items, and trust me. the items on 2002 are extremely easy to get. losing interest beause a rule was broken and you were reprimanded, thats childish. as a matter of fact having no items would give you somthing to do.

1. How did u get the ring in the first place? Even if one of your staff friends did give it to you, dont mean you have the right to use it....

2. You got the ring, yes, so why are you mad at your account being reset? Someone said that this "ring" takes you to all the goodies in the server, so you didnt earn any of these items, you got them simply by touching them in a level.

I dont care you if you get all pissed at me or start an aurguing over what i said, casue i dont care.

1.) What the hell? Are they going to give it to you and expect you to NOT use it?

2.) Bullshit. You had to craft the swords with your OWN minerals.

1) I didn't even mention the fact that Er1c or any other Admin resets accounts with this new cheat catcher. All I said was that it notifies the admin of problems and illegal NPC's. I did mention Er1c banning, but not reseting.

2) Personally, I like the music on 2k2. Dungeon music could use some work tho.... As for the trees, their quite detailed and I like them. (Kudos to whoever made em)

3) 2k2 isn't done yet. This is an Alpha test. Don't expect the best and nothing to go wrong. Heck, I'm lucky nothing's happened to my account yet. My computer's crashed a few times, but other than that, it's been ok. Sure, staff are coming out with new things for it, slowly, but that's so that noone loses interest immediately. Heck, pretty much all of the stuff that's been released so far has been around for quite a while (The swords, shields, axes, etc)

4) How could you not know you had a warp ring????? I mean, do you use items? EVER!? I mean, just by scrolling, you should notice it. yeesh.
