How do you make GMAPS?

-_-'' scripting doesn't create gmaps, why must everyone know how to make them, you need a special g-server and npc server to have them work right (with npcs), if you must know, why don't you work hard like other people who know how to make them did, it took me around an hour to figure them out (I had to find the command and how to edit the gmaps) but now with the terrain generator, it's a lot simpler

wha? you dont need a special any thing to have gmaps on a server... its just a command on a client that loads them

try working npcs on a gmap

Hmm... I have recently acquired a few Gmaps myself. I plan to check into them shortly. I understand the text file associated with them, but it seems like it will be a bit more work, he he. Time which I am most willing to give, in a few days after school is out!

Use the Terrain Generator.. But you need to have the G$erver 2 to work right on them..

G-s-e-r-ve-r 2? o_O! heh. I thought you weren't supposed to have a copy of G-s-e-r-ve-r on your computer ;)

All servers run G-server 2, its just a difference between the classic version of it and the gold version of it which allow gmaps and such.

that isnt fair gmaps r so easy to created and with the normal lvls u must ste all thetiles with hand(mouse) :(

maybe they should make a new editor for the regular levels but I doubt that will happen... ever.... since their new baby is g2k2 I dont belive they will do anything more to improve the other stuff :)

there already is an editer for gmaps built into the client, you just need to launch it with script commands

i know, i make gmaps using terraineditor

but its not released yet, i was given it ages ago by mafukie.
you need to have a text file in your graal folder called loadgmaps.txt with the name of your gmap in it

and then load the levels of your gmap.

you don't need to have that txt file

kk just tested on enigma

dont need special npc-server to have 3d gmaps

just need some complicated stuff heh.

and you need loadgmaps.txt on offlinemode

loadmap works fine clientsided...have you tried having npcs on the gmap? Also, I've been messing with gmaps for a few months offline and I've NEVER used that txt file

I have come into control of a few GMaps and the levels or whatever. I haven't yet played around with them, but starting with a working one will be nice. I thought you meant in offline mode, and I know that all the PW's have Gserve-r 2, I used to work on Sans. I thought you were talking on your compy. LOL, do they even have a COPY of Gser-ver 2 out? Not wanting it, just curious. I know how quickly stuff gets leaked, but it seems that Graal is actually quite good at NOT leaking! Very impressive.

I thought Mafukie gave away the Graal NEw World and 2002 exe and Stefan and Unixmads password and got banned and Stefan said he planned to sue him when i asked him about it........
