id have toi say about a 7.5

great GHFX and gameplay but terrible fighting.

8, all is great except the fighting

It's nifty, but there's major room for improvements to make it the best.

Its good, like the gfx, levels, and the new tileset is amazing, but i hate the walking gameplay, etc..

I say 9, I don't really like the fighting, way too slow, although the moves are good

The game looks great.
Decent gameplay.
Not enougfh stuff to do though.
Fighting I don't like to much.

Overall I'd say it's okay but there's lots of room for improvement.

It still needs stuff added, but so far, it's fantastic.

You know, all the staff would have to do to solve almost all the complaints with the fighting system is just speed up the ganis a bit. I don't quite get why they haven't already. :\

Ha, here. This swing is almost twice as fast as the online one, with just as high quality animation. Give it a download, play it, and then compare it to human2_sword_swing.gani. Which one would you rather use?

Edit: I've been messing around, and I managed to make it even faster. It looks identical to the current swing; just three times as fast.

except i don't care about the fighting, so i give it a 5

is Kasuagi the only one here that doesn't play G2k2? :(

6. Its hard to move around and it takes forever to kill someone.

It has nice graphics (compared to Graal's defualt graphics) and it has a nic touch by giving you a reason instead of getting hearts and making money, tory is woven in, yet, really the reason this i good enough is because of the gamers playing it. It we had 6 year old's playing this is wouldn't be a 8.5. It's be like a 4.

1, it's just not good... Hopefully it will get better in time :rolleyes:

My thoughts

+ = Good Things
/ = Average Things
- = Bad Things

+Graphics are nice.
+Levels are good.

/The fighting is alright. Some more weapons would be nice. Bows, Maces, Throwing Knifes etc.
/Theres a few things you can do.

-Walking is annoying sometimes (like when trying to move up hills)

Possible improvements

A class type thing could be made. Not a 'say the name and become the most powerful of it in all history' type thing.
More like your decisions effect what you become.

Some more clothes would be nice. Not just hats/masks.

Some items for the games and transportation sections of the inventory.

Overall

If this was the actual game (not the alpha version) I would rate it

But seeing as it is the alpha version Ill give it

I give it a 10
the graphics are nice, the gameplay is good, and the fighting is good because you shouldn't expect to kill someone as easily as you would on 2k1 and it stops PKers a little, although he stubborn ones still try, and walking is fine, it may take a long time, but you can't walk around the world in a couple of minutes now can you?
For an alpha, i give this a 10

for an alpha, this scored pretty high

10! A lot of people rate it 9 because of fighting, but you probably shouldn't be fighting anyways because its not rping, its pking. Its in Alpha which explains why lots of stuff aren't out so why get mad? At least they are letting us play it!
