I don't know if this has been brought up before, because I couldn't get into the forums until about two weeks ago.

I'd really like to be able to change my nick. I don't like using my account name at all. :o

There's negative and positive.

Positive : You can change your username.

Negative : Someone else can already be using yours.


I'll explain the negative one. Let's say this hack is implemented and I change my username to superdupercoolman. Then a new player upgrades an account named superdupercoolman. See the problem?

Adding something like that would cause too much problems with people changing names all the time. :(
Perhaps if you only could do it so-and-so often and tht you accountname is listen below or something...

I'd change my name to "Kaimetsu". Oh, wait, I don't have to, because I had the genius notion of making my account name the same as my nickname.

I couldn't make toad. And I hadn't thought up my new nick, towen, before I made this account.

So I settled with my usual account name for stuffs, toad1413.
You can easily tell it's me, as to the toad1413 bit. So yeah. :)

I'm not too fond of my account name, doesn't bother me alot though. This account was given to me a long time ago actually, and I upgraded my Classic accounts but I've been playing 2k1 and posting with this one for so long I got attached to it :p

I love having the account name (with the space) that matches my nick :) I'm perfectly happy with my account name.

Who doesn't? You can name an account whatever the hell you want to when you sign up.

This isn't the best account name in the world. But people know who I am. That is all that matters. I don't really care what my account name is.

I had a choice but this is a really old account and at the time I was calling myself Gambit...I doubt anyone who plays now remembers this account on N-pulse...I couldn't upgrade my Mubeen9k account because it was given to me so I'm stuck being Gambit. Yay me. :p

I like my usual one.
Mainly because thats the name I go by in game.

This one I can't complain about because I got it for free.
