Something for the next version!

Add an option in rc to make a sound when rc chat entry is recieved that might help people who are doing other things as most people dont keep an eye on rc chat.

Add a client side and server side disconnectplayer "displayedreason";
this way if a player doesnt have the newest version, or if the player curses 1 too many times , or if he or she just somehow ends up in a place he or she shouldnt they can be easily disconnected for a short period (until they reconnect) or until the problem is fixed .

AND of course you could ... ALLOW png files bigger than 64k to be uploaded ;)

ALSO A MAJOR BIG IMPROVEMENT
If you fix the old showimg bug where clientside img layer 4 showimgs are hidden and screwed up when a player is hurt or he or she loses health that is REALY driving me insane right now!
And im sure it would help out alot if the showimg doesnt have to be held outside of a loop with constant flags to make it work properly.

Its not too hard to get around but should be fixed.

Also you could fix the showfile command for client side as its not working and could be set for security to only open set types of files

Im wanting to use it to open text files client side for easy lag free exchange of information.

You could also add a command "download filename;" so that if someone wanted to download a mp3 he could without it opening and the #d() could be used more efficiently. Not realy needed but could be helpfull

Thats all i have right now thanks ;)

Please reply all with your comments

nice ideals! the last one would be a bit too esay to take advantage of though, don't you think? what if a corrupt staff wanted to upload a trojan onto someones computer or whatever.

a little far-fetched, but I'm sure it could happen. again, good improvements though!

They couldn't make it execute, or rename it to an executable format. But that doesn't mean I agree with the original posted. It has been explained AGAIN and AGAIN why we can't upload things bigger than 64k. I wish people would just LISTEN.

Make it a Direct Tansfer so little information actually even touches the server.

I understand why people cant upload more than 64k kaimetsu i only said make it for png files it was just a suggestion , ill probably use websites to upload big files and an openurl to retrieve them , yet thats kind of more complicated than i had previously wanted as about 4 days ago i sent the files needed to be uploaded to stefan and they arent on nor has my message been read thats the main reason i suggested it ;)

I guess i'lll just make links to a site for my big files if i can find a decent host O-o know of any?
