Looking for a chance to help with Project: Facelift?
 

This is really geared towards those interested in owning, running, and building one of the 6 remaining kingdoms for Doragon Koden's new overworld but I suppose it's open to anyone that is:

1). Interested (and I mean fully interested)
2). Can be able to give me a weekly report including screenshots, etc.
3). Can see and use light effects and terrain.

Now, this is really a task for a small group of somekind...you will get limited RC clearance to do the small task of downloading and uploading the levels your group is assigned with.

We all have our own lives so I do not expect a 24/7 thing...that's just overkill. But the faster this is accomplished, the sooner I can prepare a few things for the release of the new overworld on my birthday (or at least around thereof).

If you are interested, just simply post a reply stating the kingdom you wish to manage and any extra persons that will be assisting you. You'll get all the necessary images, scripts, and levels for your job...you are allowed to make extra images that would suit your kingdom's element and/or name.

The only thing is that I've never really made any levels using the 3d terrain. Or does that not even matter?

hm, what are the kingdoms that you already have? (I don't want to end up making the same type)

I am already in charge of the light/holy kingdom...I still need to make a name for it...the rest of the elements are available (earth, air, water, fire, dark/shadow)

I was joking about the name. I would get a good name. Do you have any specific outlines on the Kigndoms like restrictions or such?

other than sticking to your element alignment and theme...nothing really...just don't go overboard...keep it simple

You just need to be sure that it works on your machine...IE you've been to 2k2 before and you can see the 3D terrain.

It's a bit big (~2.7mb) but here is the map for the overworld

For those that have decided to help out, just take a section of the map upto at least 5x5 (total of 25 levels). The little markers space off the size of each board so that should help if any :)

Then post it here and I'll let you know what comes next...since it takes me at least an hour to generate the map, it's not totally upto date so the areas I've worked on are not there at this time, sorry for the inconvenience (sp?)

Ack, I missed it.
I was downloading the map.

Sorry about that, I started experimenting with ideas for the kingdom. I should be on around 10 am Pacific time tommarrow morning.

Hmmm, can I be some sort of villain who hacks the server or something?

Whoa... I just warped myself to a gmap area... it's small (well, tiny in comparasin to the whole map), but it looks good. It'd look even better were it using the proper tileset.

okay, first, I'll need you to pick a remaining element...Air, Earth, and Water have been taken, so you have Fire and Dark/Shadow remaining :)

After that, pick an area off the map and I'll let you know if it's available :D

I cant belive you're just giving people you've talked to on the forums RC just like that @_@;;

Yoshi I will take Shadow kingdom.... I dont know when i will be able to start it but my my computer will becoming back home on wednesday so on friday i will start. I am not sure if the outside levels will work tho. >.<
