Re-Activate the members list
 

Why was it disabled in the first place, I remember when it happened but did Unixmad give a reason?

Yes, it was removed because of spam. However, it was fun seeing the top 10 posters, and it was really easy to find people to PM them that way :(

people trying to compete with each others in posts.. like..

"ONLY 15 MORE POSTS UNTIL IM IN 37TH PLACE!!" and then they spam... get it?

Yea, that's stupid though, anyone who did that has problems.

you could solve the spam by a: turning off post counts or b: removing the 500/1000 limits

I used it to look for people's AIM screen names and such, since I get easily tired of clicking search, then looking through zillions of posts for that person just to click their profile.

Exactly, they should be removed. I don't want to have to wait so long to get my avatar and title but I'm not going to result to spam to get it, although most people will.

I like the Avatar/Title Idea because it gives you abition to post. Anyways it still should be re-activated.

I didn't spam to get my title or avatar. :)

I thoguth it was disabled because of the new HP system.

you can't stop the spam, just accept it and move on...

I thought it was deactivated because unixmad was frustrated with an error not adding new members to the list.

It is staying disabled.

Doesn't matter to me whether it would get re-enabled or not. I just think it's dumb having to have 500/1000 posts for stuff. People post if they want to... and it's not like you can spam with an avatar :confused:
