And when I try this is what it turns out like... =\

Do not only use prefedinied trees. Check the tiles section and at the far left middle or something is some tree tiles which you shall use.

Horrible explanation, if you don't understand I try and make a better reply :)

Glory 04-28-2002 05:30 AM

LOL explain better please, and tile, by tile is not working either... =\

RavenTelvecho 04-28-2002 06:21 AM

take a picture like u just did and studie the tiles

Glory 04-28-2002 06:34 AM

=\

DiabloSK 04-28-2002 07:37 AM

i had the same problem.. ok, u take about 3/4 of the tree, and put it into another tree, that is putting them together sidebyside, i cant figure out how to do it up and down yet, heh

/edit

ok, i was just thinking, and this works pretty well....
make an npc and set it to treetop.gif
then connect however many treetops that u want, and just use the tiles to add the bottoms. it works really well

Qwert616 04-28-2002 07:41 AM

For the trees to overlap they need to be NPCs. Put an NPC on the level. Then go into the scripting screen, at the top it shows a white box with another box that says browse, use that to open a picture of the tree found in your Graal folder. That should do it.

DiabloSK 04-28-2002 07:43 AM

heh, me and Qwartz posted at the same time, he posted the same idea when i did, odd

We must think the same things and type at the same speed!

To do them up and down, it's impossible to do one directly on above the other... you hafta kinda do them diagonal... There are tiles on the left side of the tile set... like the very left, right against the edge... and for the side by side... you cuz off the part that you can walk on, you know the rounded part on the left and right... and you move it up parralle to the other tree...

(edit): I laughed at you, but i took it out cuz i relized that's mean... Im sorry.

DiabloSK 04-28-2002 10:54 AM

and Aknts, i saw those tiles, and tried to use em, but always fuxored it up, heh

Skatche 04-28-2002 11:18 AM

Then you were not using them correctly. Please fix yourself.

Glory 04-28-2002 12:27 PM

So you have to do it tile by tile? =\
