It always bothers me when people say something like that. The only thing that makes roleplaying "better" are the roleplayers. Superficial extras like destroyable buildings, or better fighting systems may perhaps make roleplaying easier, but not better. The best roleplaying is almost always text-based, even without all the bells and whistles of an MMORPG.

Some people believe tangible stuff makes role-playing much easier. Personally, I find it that you can role-play from almost anything but others have a different perception of that

It's possible in a way, but there's one big limitation: There is no fast way to draw lines in Graal. Otherwise I'd just extend the 3D engine that I made for the sphere and my first-person space sim.

Could you just use images? It might be a game only for those with good cards to use. Or maybe stefan would let you work on it as a side .exe program that comes with graal. He could add an extra FPS graal server. It could bring many more people.. it would be very fun :) I would love you if you did this :D

How could I draw lines with images? I'd need to make a one-pixel image and draw thousands of them. Very very very very slow.

In any case, Graal 3D might have this functionality :)

Yea, it could be done with Graal3d for sure. I would love to see a FPS for graal.
