I was waondering if you guys could make a extracted vesion of the graal player list for people outside of regular grall progam to use, put in the same impliments as the upgraded accounts, and only accounts can acess, but somtin like a Graal INstant Messanger(GIM). Like have a chat area for toalls like the rc does and just a buddy list like graal does.

Later on you could upgrade it and such, it wont produce all that lag

I do, only thing the GIM would be usful for is when i dont wana lag while i'm d/ling things and some ppl dont use aim much , then i can stay on a server, not gaining time, and chat, or ganing GIM time and stuff.

Really i would use it for is chatting with ppl on server i'm not buddied with and such

That's a good idea. Now i'm gonna state my version of that idea.

it will be a list similar to the playerlist, except it will have server names in a seperate column. You can sort the playerlist by server or name. *keeping the players within their respective seperations * buddys, guild, ect.**
It will keep ignore seeing as, well, there are people you want to ignore. There will be 3 diffrent types of pm's. to buddies, to guild and normal pm's.

This is a possable, but it would cause a little more lag. Have the server store your buddy/ignore list.

To enter into the GIMP you would need to enter in your account name ans password. along with a nickname. *Note: You can put on guild tag's*

One more thing, you can talk to other people who are using GIMP. they will show up in their own seperate section titled GIMP Users.

It dosen't have to be called GIMP it could be GMP *Graal Messanger Program* or PIMP *Personal Instant Messaging Program* i like the name PIMP more:D :D

Auctualy being able to join only one server instead of having the players from all servers on your list is better. If you wanted to you can run the program more than once to log onto other servers to participate in conversation on there as well.

Have toalls in the prog too. Also, about people excessivly swearing, since this prog would be like an RC *meaning you wouldn't be in a level* there wouldn't be a way to "jail" people when they swear execssivly or are harassing people. To fix that problem, when someone would log into the prog it would check the server to see if that account is in jail/banned. If that account is jailed/banned then it would disconnect you and a popup message would appear saying "Cannot log in, account is jailed."

As for being able to access the p2p servers, i think that it should be allowed since all that person can do is converse with other players. As for the head that would show up when you log on. i think it should be a head specificly for the prog users. That way you can tell or not if that person is on.

There should also be an option for the auctual players to ignore messages from the prog users.

but with the stuff like jailing and ect. all tehy ahve to do is upadate the rc's proggy a bit or somtine, or have the lvl protocal mean if you in jail lvl by the gasme then you can't ( for Ex: if the lvl script = jail, then only pm rc's, sand such, ) that way you dsont have to update rc's:)

I though about having rc's updated but to load account attributes you need a level 3 rc and by warping the players account to jail would help with restraining people from swearing/harassing/flooding because once they logged on with their player they would be in jail.

This is a great idea. Everything remotely related to AOL sux (is a virus), so I don't use AIM. Plus having it as a seperate program (and on a seperate server) would cut down on lag, and allow you to chat with other Graal players even if you're not playing the game. Although, that's kinda what ICQ is, but having a Graal-specific one would be cool NE way.
One thing for sure, is PMs in the game give me ungodly lag. For example, they had a trivia quiz/contest a few weeks ago, and before i could even see the question, the answer was already given. Not that this particular instance means anything, but I guess I'm saying that this would really be good for those of us on slow modems.

your right about it creating less lag since player updated wouldn't need to be sent to the users.
