I was bored today so got worken on some lvls and gifs. Well after a couple of hours here is what i came up with. Although it's still not done. I just wanted to show it to everyone.

I havent detailed the ground yet and I was wanten to put fire flys in there to but i'll do that later .

It has nice trees and some custom tiles for the bridge but it isnt very fancy. I mean, other than the custom gfx which are nice, it isnt to good of a level.

Ill tell you now those levels are probably good enough to pass but hey, what do I know.

Oh my god, grab the kleenex, I am having a semen shooting orgasm with my eyes. That is one of the best(if not the best) levels I have ever seen. 99999999999999999999/99999999999999999999

I like the subtle details in the water, but you also need some more noticable ones. The grass needs more detail and irregularities, too. The bridge and the custom tiles are tres cool. There are, however, two small tiling errors in the brick path (one in the upper half, one in the lower half), where the tiles in the center part get misaligned. Out of curiosity, what's with the log sticking up out of nowhere on the tree in the lower-right?

Napier I said up in the post that it isn't finished I'm still maken more things for it. I didn't make the water waves gifs but everything else i made.

I think gfx is a big part of lvl designing. It lets you see new things rather than the same old borig tiles. I've made a like doorway for it to but it doesn't fit the scene i think but i put it in there anyway to show ya, and again the lvl isnt finished but i'll show u the gif i made

Ohh the log =D. its part of the tree I just made it look like it got cut off. I'll make more tree gifs and have them up in there later when i get more time to work on it.

Those graphics are really nice.

Improve on the grass tiling, and maybe add a few cracks or something in the bridge.

Also try make the bottom of the tree trunk look less... wiggly?

But yes the level itself is ok, the graphics are cool, except the bottom of the tree trunk.It bothers me.Make them go in different directions not one left 2 right :P

Here is another lvl i made today. I went g2k2 style with the house. Took me a while to make it about 2 hours.

On my house and roof gif there is a line where i had to cut it , i'll fix that later though =D.

I think i'll redo the fence though. It can be done a whole lot better i think.

Well I made it like 2002 style. It would look better with the 2002 sprites i guess. But i could change it =D. Shouldn't be to hard to change the door.

Looks like it'd take 3 graalians to push that door open. =D.
I just wanted to make a house g2k2 style mainly.

I'll fix the fence sometime today when i get home make it look better , and the transparency i missed on the bottom part of the house.

I'm actually thinken of maken my own tileset but it'd be alotta work =( .

heheh, :) you can take a joke :megaeek: not many people on graal can do that, any way I would rate it 8/10 very good trying to make a graal 2002 house

Here's one i did a couple weeks ago. I think i put to much in the lvl or somen I dunno but it looks pretty good. There are animations in this one like the tumbleweed rolling across the screen and again the water animation, and a Palm tree gif I made.

Somehow i just sence the presence of Photshop filters.... but other than that it looks ok.

True levels are made with tiles and not gifs everywhere......
make your own tiles/gifs then make a lvl and post it.....

Excuse me for using something else besides microsoft paint. =D. Yeah it's not hard to do.

But u look around servers and you dont see anything like it I dont know why lol.

What other server uses any type of gfx similiar or like mine , besides 2k1.

Actually i would like to start a server but I cant do all this stuff myself ,and I've started new classes so I dont know how hard or how much time i can put into it. =(. If i was to start a server though it have to be with a different tilesheet than what graal uses. Or at least some of my own tiles on the tile sheet. And maybe gani's that let the player look entirely different.

Yes the gifs are mine. I worked hard on them and who are u to say that they aren't mine. I can show u the outlines for the house and palm tree's and everything freaken loser.

If someone else made gifs like these they'd be on a server ********

The only gif that isn't mine which i stated in above post is the waterwave gif.

okay well if they are thats fine. they just all look differnt. the black outlines are thicker on sum then others.........
and also gfx dont just make a lvl. u still gotta make them detailed.

Yes gifs aren't everything but they are nice and they make the lvl 1000000000000 times better least that's how i think , but u've also gotta use some tiles. Sorry for being so harsh before but saying I stole those is like calling me a thief and a liar and those are 2 things that I am not.

X_x DarkVillin.... he's the guy that made the gfx for that other guys level a while back, which is why i think you thought he stole it.

Well i think he made them for that other guy ne ways, cause he said that A Crimson something made it for him, judgeing by his account im guessing its him ;)


Graphics are a BIG part of levels, the whole tile set is graphics...
but i know what you mean:-p

sure i guess we could try it out. I dont see why a bunch of us dont get together and just make tiles . I'll help on the project if anyone wants to do it with us. Heck maybe we can even maka server with them or just give it out who knows =D. Just wish i had those like 70 tiles i made like 3 years ago =( when i was into rpgengine.

Nice levels but how did you make the tiling on the bridge it seems imported , did you make it your self or did you find a website to get it from.

of course i made it myself. It takes no time at all to make a tile like that. Just use 3 basic colors or somen that look good together and bam u've got that. Of course u gotta make sure all the sides go or tile good with each other.
And none of my stuff is from sites even 3 years ago with rpgengine i never got my stuff from sites so I dont intend to start now =D
