Unixmad provided me with an up-to-date copy of the GuildCP souce so I'm going to get to fix everything this weekend. The source is very proprietary so it'll take some doing to get it to work on my dev server.

Anyways, start making a list of what is broken.

Things that may be broken

* Not sure if this would be called broken.. but global guild tags don't work.

* You can't watch the members information of each member.

* You can't transfer the guild.

* Some people have/had problems with spaces in their guild names.

And some things that could maybe be added

* Something so you could change your e-mail withouht having to be removed and then readded, also goes for the administrator of the guild.

* A possibility to see the members accountname in the guild members section so you don't have to view member information. This is mainly because you can't check member information of people who haven't set their nickname.

* Could maybe make so the build database function only is visible for people who can actually build the database?

* [Pointless] If want to disband the guild it says Disban NOW... should maybe be disband now? And the pink color there is horrible :) [/Pointless]

* Could add like in forums that you have different categorys and icons telling you if a post is new in the public notes section

* In the Guild information section it says that people of a certain rank can edit public notes. Could be good if that would make you able to also edit and not just delete public notes.

* Should be able to send private messages via the guild management. It says that you can read/write public notes. Haven't seen such a thing yet.

Well... that would be what could be added, then a lot more stuff could be added like having enemies and allies sections and such but that I guess would need more work with the guild management so I skip to bring that up ^_^

Anyways some stuff may be working which I ahve added and some stuff may be wrong. So just care about the stuff that does not work :)

* Could make it so it would be possible to select multiple posts in the public notes for making deleting old posts go faster

* [Pointless] Says "For autorized guild leaders only" when opening the guild management, got me atleast confused first time I was in a guild as I tought only guild leaders could log into guild manager[/pointless]

* The guild information page does not show up when checking for guilds in the guild listing page. And yes something is written in the guild information page but it shows up blank in the guild listing!

There are also some guilds which apparently have trouble with either adding members or building the database.
Though I've only picked that up out of toalls and can't say I have personal experience.

i think its all been covered, lol

the most important thing is this, if you can get it fixed it is needed!

the guild cp for any guild with a space in the name is messed up, if you try to do anything it tells you that the guild does not exist

its done terrible things to all guilds with the problem, and people complain all the time

also, if you could somehow fix the mulitple supporting bug it would be nice

You know, there used to be a time when the pubic... sorry, Public Notes actually worked. :p :p :p

God... they werent smart enough to make backups of the old guild code? They should just go back to the old one...

i dont like the old one this one is better the old one u the leader needed to add there Nick and stuff this way u get them to do it

The problem with the guilds with spaces is, when you try to log into the roster, public notes, or data, it will stop the guild name when it reaches the space, meaning if you try to get to the roster for (Game Coordinator), it will stop at the space and try to pull up the roster of the guild (Game), which doesn't exist, so you get that error message. When I pull up the roster for FAQ Chief, I get the roster of FAQ as it stops at the space, so it needs to count the space in with the name.

FAILURE!

I spent a good 5 hours trying to recreate the graal web and database enviroment on my development server but to no success :(

I must pester Unixmad to grant me a login to Graal's dev server or I fear I'll never get these corrections made.

I have a problem with my account guild tags have never worked for me doesnt matter what guild I've ever been in. Only tags that have ever worked are like kingdom tags. I e-mailed bhala about it once ages back but he never responded.

Kooky. I thought we had a lady working fulltime on this PHP stuff. Oh well.

Error - might be fixed, I've got conflicting reports - guilds with spaces in their names, such as GP Cadet and Game Coordinator, can't log in. GP Cadet logs in to GP, Game Coordinator fails to log in to Game, etcetera.

unixmad is hooking me up with dev server access so I can fix the problems directly in a graal enviroment

If you have an account name with a space in it...
it wont allow you to do anything once you log into the guild cp thing. It gets an error like "Account name doesn't exist" or something..
Someone might have posted this but I'm too lazy to look.

The guild (Dragon Knights) just recieved out new guild management after re-aplying for one when our old one got hacked. as of now the Administrator can log in, but is not able to do anything due to an error message that says "Error: This error should not happen. Guild does not exist." can the Guilds Admin please fix this problem as soon as he can?

It's probably using some kind of tokenize functoin right now then, with spaces as delimiters. Strange it doesn't just take the whole field. :/

it's susposed to replace spaces with underscores but someone messed it up

Hopefully, one day I will be able to use the Guild CP, if it gets fixed before I lose my account (which is going to happen if I can't convince my parents to upgrade my account).

you do know that you keep your guild even after your pay account runs out
