Alot of times the term getting hacked is useless. A playerworld is actually hardly ever gets hacked... I dont know why people think this. Usually passwords are given out by staff members that are mad at a playerworld. Simple as that.

Keyword: Usually

It really is illogical that any pw gets hacked.. more or less, it's because of one of these reasons:

-Staff go nuts and delete stuff/ban everyone
-Staff get "hacked" by some trojan they ran because they are stupid, thus giving a "hacker" access to that persons computer
-Ex-Staff leak passwords or still have access to things

Okay, I guess you're right.

But I was too lazy to elaborate when I put up that sticky. :(

It's still the management on Sanstrata that needs to get themselves together because obviously they give out private info way too much.

Now people wonder why I say I'm going to be the only person on my pw with ftp access to everything.

smart thing to do... If i ever finish my pw and get it up.. Only me and Shadow knight would get ftp

I hate people who give out passwords...heh, I don't see how they would do it. I had Faheria's FTP pass for the longest time, and even when bad things happened I kept my word and never gave the pass out...anyone who can't keep their word should get smacked...
