Galen made a booboo (house owners, read)
 

Um..I made a BIG booboo. :( I was resetting all the horses and hit an extra key and started resetting player houses. I didn't catch myself until I had done considerable damage.

NPC House-Control14 has been reset [fixed]
NPC House-Control15 has been reset [fixed]
NPC House-Control2 has been reset [fixed]
NPC House-Control3 has been reset [fixed]
NPC House-Control4 has been reset [fixed]
NPC House-Control5 has been reset [fixed]
NPC House-Control6 has been reset [fixed]
NPC House-Control7 has been reset [fixed]
NPC House-Control8 has been reset [fixed]
NPC House-Control9 has been reset [fixed]

This means that those who own or have stuff in those houses all lost it. Now here's where things start getting better...Someone must be looking out for me because just last night Falados made a log of everything contained in houses+keys+owners. This means it will all be restored. If it's relevent, I yesterday extracted 4000G from house 6 and gave it to the owner (account name "gloop"). Don't go putting that cash back in there, y'hear?

uh, well, my house was reset and I lost 56300. It's a villa, worldx-09_phouse8.nw, and I have no clue how to pay rent for it? I said pay rent 100 about the time that I got it.

I traded PH6 forn his PH3 and now i dont own PH3 :x

I have NOTHING against galen but I would like to point out a silly fact. Do you all know that if ANY other person did this exluding Stefan and unixmad of course, we would all jump at their throat? But nope, hes galen, everyone knows him and loves him. I dont care..just wanted to point that out.

It's all a matter of how much they have done for Graal, and how bad the mistake was. Since this mistake doesn't seem to be too bad (since everything is being fixed) and galen has done so much for Graal, I really don't think anyone will be upset with him.

Now when some person messes up and has done absolutely nothing for Graal, and it is a big problem, then they get shafted. :)

That is not right. Why should someone else get more benefits than another person. Because they made something more? I agree for there rights such as RC level etc. But, for punishment I feel they should receive the same. But no, thats not the way it works. Jobs are treated by the person having them rather than the job it is. BlKnight taught me that.

If the person admits their mistake, and fixes it I have no problem with it.

Yet if they tell the truth and noone has ANY proof against them whatsoever they are screwed over. Hint hint Brad and Bugs Admin job.

I believe, long ago, someone said "respect is earned."

Galen has done a crapload, so I would say he's earned enough respect to be forgiven for reseting the houses.

This means he'll have to mess up a lot more stuff if he even wants to come close to the other Admins. ;)

In my opinion, he's done a bit too much.
