BEEP! What a weird discovery...
 

I was helping falados test the new cs stats and stuff, and I was checking spar ratings while moving around and noticed that if you hold R and hold up and right, that you can't move diagonally, also after a few seconds of holding these 3 keys down, my computer makes an internal beep.

Very weird. :p

Try get a better keyboard :)

this beep is caused by your computer having pleasure from you touching 1 or more of its buttons..if you find the beeping attractive keep on doing it and the machien will go beep beep and will destroy road runner cable access and they will sue your machien for saying beep beep

Hey! My keyboard is only 5 years old :D

Most of my computer stuff is just free stuff I got from my networking class.. I got a 17 inch monitor, 3 15 inch monitors, an old ibm computer, several small ati computers, a laser printer, several keyboards, several mice, and lots of power cables. :p

I made a mini network in my room :cool:

Heh same happen for my schools computers... u just only have to pres 2 keys at once ;) :D

I can move diagonally but I still get the beep, only in my case it's a click.

Sometimes I move just up and left or down and left and the internal beep happens anyways...

mmmmkay: My keyboard wont let me hit down+right and slash, this is awfully annoying in spars so I plug my other 10 year old beauty in and kick ass!

Don't all computers make a beeping noise or some kind of noise (my bros sounds like a duck quacking :confused: strange I know) when your holding 2 or more keys down.

this happens to me with several key combinations..
its wierd. I think it happens to me when i hold alt and then up and right, but i cant remember cus it hasnt happened to me in awhile.

Helpful trick: use ctrl to "pause" while in mid run. It's helpful in spars when you're running one way, you can stop going but still be walking and then let go of ctrl and continue. It confuses people a lot :)

The beeps are shortcut keys for windows accessibility features. Like on XP if you hold shift down for like 5 sec it turns on a certain function, when it turns them on it will beep unless you disable it.

press ctrl + alt + delete twice real fast and your computer goes up to 67% faster forever

I have the same problem too with this keyboard. My last one you couldn't press 2 keys at once, and this one, now you can, but it can't go at 3 keys at once. :)

Yeah happens to me.. push up down and right at same time..
if u wanna turn the beeper off go into windows sound properties and click mute pc beep.
