everyone says that i hacked the scores or something because i should've been disconnected, but i swear i scored this score

during the course of game play, i paused, read and sent pms, and chatted to players, so maybe thats what stopped me from being disconnected, please clear this up stefan

here is a pic

Hmmm normally you can't get such a score, but
if you have a slow computer and pause a lot you can
probably reach that

That's why there needs to be a command to disable pause so that players can't pause while playing it. :(

Kind of takes the point out of it when you can pause when the block appears and then think of the best location for it. I could score like 100,000 on it if it wasn't for being disconnected.

For some reason I always have bad luck with it. I tried to pause and do other stuff and come back, but all the sudden it just says "You have been disconnected from the server" nothing about me not moving or anything.

That, or my cable modem decides to lose it's signal RIGHT while I'm playing. :(

I remember lagging so bad that i could easy score records like that

FFusion 03-16-2002 04:07 AM

you should still be able to pause but when you do pause the pieces disappear like they do in the real game, tetris.

cds96 03-16-2002 04:12 AM

i would like an indicator of what peice is coming next

Psyker 03-16-2002 04:29 AM

just add all of the original pieces

if we do that we should reset the metris scores because if they already had those scores when it was ez it would be unfair

screen_name is lying...
I was there in personalhouse.pw (sparkerīs house) and saw him playing metris, and I saw 900 points, not 8000 points
you have to lie better :D

screen_name 03-16-2002 05:06 AM

it was last night, not today when i was playing

and to konidias, i dont pause to think where to put the pieces, i pause to talk to people, thats all

Screen Name is just a good Metris player, I think I have seen him beat out anyone that he has ever played. And isn't there any way at all to keep the player from disconnecting while playing Metris?
