rc powers

i think owners should be able to give people rc powers to there regular account instead of having to have a certain prefix

Falcor 03-11-2002 06:14 AM

But then that account couldnt go on any other server =\

Dilrod 03-11-2002 06:15 AM

why not?

screen_name 03-11-2002 06:24 AM

it does it now

but it should be able to get rc powers and play powers

no, the playerworld prefix is useful for organization and you would have to give the people with account edit rights a level 4 admin level (not rights, admin level) so they could edit accounts that aren't part of there server

zell12 03-12-2002 06:43 AM

I always thought that when you open an account, and there is a numver there, like 1, thats your max rights level, well, its not...

0 = Player Account
1 = Staff Account (Server)
2 = Global Admin
3 = Accounts Admin (mabey)
4 = Stefan; Unixmad

Couldn't there be like, a level 0.5 RC which could be used to visit all playerworlds, but couldn't do anything at all?

It'd be nice for inspecting playerworlds, or something. :o

screen_name 03-12-2002 10:49 PM

what i mean is this

i have the account screen_name and TDK_RC6

my account screen_name should be able to be given the same rights as TDK_RC6, and only for that server

ZORG1986 03-14-2002 04:31 AM

Yes...as in not Admin levels but rights such as warpto and update level, so you could give a player account the right to use warpto..would save alot of hassel. Also another imrpovement would be an Ignore option!!!!!

ZORG1986 03-14-2002 04:32 AM

Oh yeah and an extra right called "View Admin Rights" because it would be nice top be able to give staff the right to view other peoples rights without the abbility to change them.
