Wow, an new NPC that actually does something. :\

i HATE these new torches. they are laggy. they are too big (the light i mean. i know how to make it small, but everyone wants this giant blob of color), i also hate how they took kingdoms lamps down. :(

They lag like hell. I was just on-line a few minutes ago and I could barely take two steps because of all the people with lamps.

i was in bomboria, and 5 people had lamps. it felt like 20 were there

if you don't like them turn off light effects.

I don't lag.. they are fine.. the other torches they had today were much larger lights..

They lag horribly even with lighting effects off. :o

but now they lag less..

Yeah, they lag. But I will only be using the light mostly when I am alone or with a friend or two. When I am farming.. well I will have to figure something out. Whenever lighting effects are on my char slows down and I can't pour water as fast

You should hold it up instead of hold it down
and also beable to place it and sit down next to it

I have been telling Falados some ideas.. He seemed to like the one where you can buy a tent NPC for 100g that lets you go to a tent level until morning and it heals you =O

I think that idea sucks, 100g to get healed? I would just walk into spar room 2 and save 100

The lamps don't cause lag as such, but they'll slow down your computer if you have an old graphics card.

The new lamps shouldnt lag anymore than the old ones. Since they use basically the same gani code.

I agree they lamps may be too bright. I should tone down the alpha to about like .5, then reenabled white-light.

I don't know if its just a trend or a lazyness of some of the devlopers to just put stands or booths with items on it ;\, its quite anyoing to me acutaly

my lamp makes people go blind.
