When stefan would come on and auction houses/bomys off and EVERY week take a pic of the week :(

DO YOU REMEMBER BEFORE THEY PUT THE STUPID MARKET UP!? We were all happy that there would be no more dumb mass messages about selling things.. now there is twice as many messages!

I just liked the first month or so on 2001. THT, remember that one staff position you were with Cali because you made a bomy skin?

Yeah! Animal Team or something. Antago was the Animal admin. I had to quit the team because of NewWorld or something though, so it never went anywhere.

Yeah and THT was like a GOD b/c he had a playerhouse. Those where the days. Oh yeah THT and some others had this job on RC I can't remember what it was.

And I also remember Stefan holding some huge CTF tournament and at the end it was me and Lamer and I beat Lamer and got money from Stefan and Lamer =). I Also remember b4 Loriel had RC and all that stuff he was pretty much just a player he gave me 80g to start making money that eventually became atmost 14k.

When hats were free and you could go around putting them on peoples head
When everyone played CTF and we broke record for most people online (around 70 people)
When kingdoms still actively role-played

Remember when Icepick was Asst Bugs Admin because he was the first person to register an account? And it was great because we didn't have so many idiots as admins.

Haha. I remember the bush field. Stefan added the bush field and someone was like "omg it's a secret quest, everyone put a bush on the square and we will win!%$#@!1"
There were like 30 squares, so everyone ran over grabbed a bush and went on them.. we never did get everyone on it though. It was some sort of game...

I remember when Stefan could hold an event without many newbs messging him and all. We actually had events!!! They should make Graal2001 - Oldbies a server where you can only play if you registered in March - July. It would be everything from old Graal2001 that would be awesome.

Remember the F5 thing and all for mining? That was cool well it was cool when like me, lugie, and the other people knew it then it got out of control and everyone knew it and Stefan fixed it. And you could play on staurday the peak for servers and 2001 only had like 20 people on it...That was great.

I rember that bush quest thing, and eveyone was couting teh squares and we got everyone on the eserver over there and we didnt even have enough :P
No one really cared about money than because there was nothign to spend it on,
I think my oldedt memory was when they opened up the pumpkin house ontop of mt antora, and humans could get up there than they made it bomys only..No one really knew me back that :P!

It was fun, than the invasion of Classic,people and all these tehr people came onto Graal2001 and made it weird and didnt make it the sam eny more, my 1st kingdom was Dustari I was tailor, <3 ASUKA!! The worst thing EVER was...when....THEY CRUSHED JINN ISLE :(:(:(

I really enjoyed pissing people off by giving them flower hats. oh dear it was fun.

I think it was Archaon, me, and someone else that just kept doing it to people. Waar jailed me on many occassions because of it ;)

Right when he'd unjail me, Id change his hat right back to the flower. fun fun.

Those werent the good days.

I remember when you could plant 2 trees in one hole, but you only got 1g per apple, I remember before the go-karts there was a dragon guarding noting that always got stuck in trees, I loved them days, always lookign for something new.

I started playing around august-september I think.. I don't know if that's the "good ol days" but it was a couple weeks to a month before hats went pay.

I remember the period of time when you could plant 20 appletrees in the same hole. I'm guessing that's how many of the rich people on Graal now, came to be. Just another reason that I wish there was a reset.

Of course, there really wasn't much to do back then either.. when I joined, getting money required you to beg like a wh*re to everyone and anyone. There was mining, fishing, farming, and pearl diving. Bomy players were the richest because pearl diving was the best job. (I had a bomy and a human account)

I went around all of 2k1 in about 2 days and saw everything and did everything. Events were a bit funner back then, but they get old fast. There was really no birdbird working as a major level maker so there wasn't areas flooded with npcs and jungle-style tiling. (now it's everywhere >_<)

I'm definitely not an "oldbie" on 2k1, since I joined about 6 months after it came out.. but I have been here longer the lots of then people on now, since many of the older players accounts have ran out and they didn't reupgrade.

But I have been playing Graal for 3+ years.. or more, I have lost track completely.

heh I remember you before G2k1, you seem much different now.

if you knew me you would know i miss those days more then anything

I still remember last year when the first admin toy came out, which brought corruption along with it. That was Loriel's secret room, which I would always go to and track milia2. I still don't consider these the "good old days". I miss when I could go on in the morning and be the only one on the server. I miss everyone having death swords and laying them down for me. I miss all those corny guilds, and the time when we knew all the guilds. I miss PACHUKA d/c me all the time on RW because I was following him around. I miss galen's awesome Graal-Online page, and I miss the quest for the black graal.

BTW, don't post in this "yea I remember those days" because I know NONE of you were there when that happened. I knew about everyone on the server back then, or the ones that actively played. You know what really pisses me off? When people say "I played ZO but then left and came back"

I started playing 2k1 in July and those were the good old days of 2k1 that I remember. No market place, and not a lot of ways of making money..only mining, fishing, and farming.

*sniff* This thread brings back meh memories when i was gud but no stopping me now im EBIL! *cries* i want alkaren!
