Map Bug
(Royce): I have had this bug since the beggining. When I make a map in png format, it never loads. Yet when I convert the file to gif then include the gif in the script it loads. It only loads in gif. What do you think is the problem?

Save it as a gif use Graals gif2mng thing it will make it a png and use that png

image must be atleast 256 colors, if any higher, then wont work :P i personally think it should be 16million, but hey |
I tihnk graal dhould support 591 colors becaus reit is much bette rthen other stuff !/%

How do you even use the gif2mng...when I open it, it just closes right away

To use the Gif2MNG you must drag a Gif file onto the gif2mng and it will create the png for you, just make sure you can drag the file first, otherwise it wont work...

Royce:Just think how laggier graal would be with 16 million colors:rolleyes: . I guess i'll have to try to redice the colors. Thanx people.

is that why graal is only 256 color and not atleast like 591 ..
because of lag it would be nice to have more colors available even if u cant use true color. |
here is what i do ...
i count the number of levels horizontally and the number of images vertically ... multiple the first number by 64 and the second by 64 and make a black gif as big as the products. Then i go to graal set my map.txt and my map.gif then i play the level close it and press f4 then i press m, and it makes my map ... |
Simple: Png maps simply do not load offline.
