Connection Problems
 

Why can I not connect to the graal servers? I get a "connection couldnt' be established" errors. This happened from 4 weeks ago till now. My ip is in the 24.54.*.* or 24.53.*.* range. Im posting about this now since i jsut found my forum password. I use proxy and i know that isnt affecting since I used it with it on and i could connect to Graal. So what is wrong?

Well. To me it very much sounds like a proxy problem, however Graal gets its internet settings from your internet explorer settings I believe, although I always had a hard time connecting with Graal when I had proxy. It sometimes doesn't work, have you ever been able to play Graal over your proxy settings?

I have used Graal with a proxy on. I even get internet without a proxy. But I cant get any Graal. Is my ip range banned or something?

do a tracert for www.graal2001.com and I forgot the other one, it was like ultima.legende.net

I have tried reinstalling, restarting, using it on another computer with same ip. Nothing worked. I want to play Graal 2k1 again. 1 month is a long time.

I couldnt edit my last message but please help me!

Last I heard, Sprint and AOL were still being jerks and denying access to each others' proxy servers or some such nonsense. As a result, some ISPs just can't get to Graal...

And contrariwise, some IP ranges are banned automatically because a hacker on the same ISP messed with Unixmad's firewall.

And now we're all in the same boat - from home I can't reach forums.graal2001.com, bobandgeorge.com, m-w.com, gist.com...stupid internet moguls.

I have internet. I can connect to ANY game server BUT Graal. Im begining to think that unixmad blocked my ip range or something. Can anyone help me to see if im banned?

Just email [email protected] with your IP and explain you can't get on the server and would like to know if the firewall is blocking your range. He's also doing all the CC-Fraud account unbannings though, so it could be a while.

He says that's the IP Range of the SG111 group, a small club of teenagers bent on the destruction of Graal for the crime of not showing them the respect they believe they deserve - or something. Solution: quit if you're with them, get your own ISP.

Im not with them I dont even know who they are. Is it possible to just allow my ip to pass? Also my proxy ip is banned. Is there any work around? Now what do i do since Im not with them? And thanks Tymn for getting the information

The only way you could have the same IP Range is if you have the same ISP. I suppose you'd have to ask your ISP to stop hosting hacking bastards or you'll find a better ISP. Not positive, I'm just relaying what I heard.
