Yes, I was stupid and let my guard down against something so trivial, and let myself get hacked. I was stupid and should have payed closer attention to the screenname.

And in the future realize when something is a virus. I suspected something was up since I didn't know lamer to use things like "u" and "r". Alas, I figured the AOLameness had finally gotten him as well.

Stupid, stupid, stupid. I am sorry everyone about all of this, and I apologies to anyone else that got hacked because of this as well.

ahh no worries man, one time when i was Level's Admin in Doomsday some idiot hacked my RC, never found out who it waz, but luckly i was on my RC when he did it..:D, we all dissed him like 20 times until someone changed my password.. heh

There was a rumor that my RC was hacked and used to download all graal2k1 files but I was told it was a rumor

I changed my passwords anyways

bwhahaha I have never gotten hax0red scoff scoff scoff :p but I have been infected with 2 virii in the past. The first (Monkey - Stoned variant) in '94 and the second (CIH - you know, the first one that fired BIOS) in '98. If history repeats itself (4yr a part), that means I'm due for another one this year. noooooooo

But, returning to topic, I think everybody who gets power like this should probably be given some sort of document explaining how to not get infected by this stuff. Immediately accepting anything sent to you in the guise of a game is... Well, it's not good practice.

i remember my old computer, it was so crap i didnt bother to put a firewall on it for a while , and after 1 year with no firewall/virus checker i decided to run a scan on it because it was really screwing up i had 79 virus's , 8 subsevens and 2 other trojans , the guy who i bought it from said i was lucky it still worked:p

I have many "fond" memories of removing that manually from all hundred school computers. Because the virus control autoupgrade wasn't sodding working...you had to log on as the admin for it to take effect, rendering it basically useless...
