Graal-online: Money?
 

I have been thinking of ways that graalonline could make more money and improve the company's financial problems.

First suggestion is simple. More ways to pay. I know it's been discussed but you have never actually added them. Whether it's through the mail, phone, or whatever, this is a must. The number one thing holding people back from upgrading is that they do not have a credit card that is accepted by pay pal. Another reason is that they do not feel comfortable submitting their personal information to an online game. You need ways to sign up without a credit card and giving away all your personal information. I understand that it will be hard to set up and carry out, but adding these ways to pay will ensure that more people will upgrade.

Second one is why not just have to pay separately for a forum account? I know a lot of people that really don't like p2p servers, but just want to post on the forums. This could be separate, like maybe 5 or 10 dollars. Of course the 12 month subscription would have the forums included, but the 3 month one wouldn't or they could just buy the subscription to the forums and not upgrade their account.

Thats all I can come up with now, but please consider adding the alternate ways to upgrade, you will benefit from more upgrades and less CC frauds.

Unixmad's working on it. Unfortunately there are few ways that protect him from fraud, and fewer still that are nice and automatic....

A viable idea would be making extra "service levels", E.G. on service level 1 (Which is basically normally upgraded), you'd still have advertisements in PMs but you could acces all playerworlds, service level 2 would mean you'd only still have advertisements in PMs on the free servers, while service level 3 would mean you'd have no advertisements in PMs at all.
