make sure your account isn't "Load only"

Warcaptain 02-19-2002 10:58 AM

nope, not load only

DeathChill 02-19-2002 11:10 AM

You must wait a couple minutes..It's caching it :P

zell12 02-19-2002 10:42 PM

Heh, laggy computer

Admins 02-20-2002 02:52 AM

Not laggy, its just that the loading of accounts is cached,
need to restart all computers so that the changing of
accounts applies immediatelly to the cache (already
fixed on graal2002)

zell12 02-20-2002 04:04 AM

hmm... I really have no idea what your talking about, but I think I do. Your saying tht when you edit an account you got to restart?

Warcaptain 02-20-2002 05:01 AM

i have to log off rc and log back on for the acc changes to take affect, even though it says on rc it did.

zell12 02-20-2002 08:51 AM

Hmm... Thats not right, shouldn't it automatically update it? Ot have a /reloadaccount option?

Tyhm 02-20-2002 11:33 AM

He means he was tinkering with things and the only way to fix it properly is to restart the server.

Since that's no fun, he's waiting until he absolutely has to. In the meantime, account changing is gonna be a little laggy - just cope.

Admins 02-21-2002 06:21 PM

Just wait 31 seconds before trying to use the account
again (cache is discarded after 30 seconds)

zell12 02-22-2002 10:59 PM

Is there anyway you can make like a /reloadaccounts option, that deletes the cache, there for its automatic...
