Potions or Funky items
 

How about potions...potions that increase your strenth and speed...like how fast you walk..that might even bring an even too.
or there could be some hats that do stuff to you..kind of along the lines of a bunny hood or maybe a hat that recovers HP slowly..

The whole reason this kinda stuff hasn't been added is because it would make people super strong/fast/whatever and it would be like N-Pulse with the weapons that can wipe the floor with everyones ass, and the healing npcs that newbie pkers use to stay alive when you're about to peekay them.

I can't say I like the idea much. :(
