My graal exe is corrupt, ARGH:grrr: I tried running the setup file to see if there was a new mainexe pack. please help

where did you save it iin?

I usually save my setup files to a graal folder on my desktop

my graal directory, however, is in C:\Program Files\Graal2001

then i dont know why it dosent work,

would beating up my computer with a blunt object work?

I would advise the Oxford Dictionary,its only good use is smashing things with it.

hmm...it always does this to me,but I just restart my comp and it works

The unable to connect to player list.. it is due to a timeout out connecting to the server,

even with a cable modem this can still happen, just give it time, if it doesn't work then force it to crash and load it up again and it will work.

if the EXE is corrupt then it is either

A) Sitting on bad clusters on the hard drive, run scandisk and do a full check this may cure the problem

B) The bite size of the exe has been tampered with, in this case just delete the EXE file and then load up setup

C) Your computer is totally messed up and hates graal

Personally i'd go for B but C is a close second :P

P.S i used to repair PC Systems for 5 years on a national scale, so try A First, if that doesn't cure it then B

I would say a file is missing because the exe
is missing the main pack.

but guy, it says that instantly when i press connect!

This is a recent developement with me but when I edit some levels graal does a stack overflow ;=\

when you press connect the little window appears yes? but then you get stuck on that littloe window correct? because it is timeing out, ... or do u mean when it is loading your player account from a server?

stack overflows are not nice :'(
there are a number of ways in which you could attemp to cure it.

1) in your config.sys you can add a stacks=..... (i cant remember the numbers, but look for a dos 6.22 site they will have it on)

2) Nuke your pc and start again
