People like my self do not like Go-Karts in graal2002. So to support the this I've designed a crummy signature that you can put into your signature to show that you DISLIKE go-karts.

Quite.

Its a Medival RP server. There are "No" go-karts. I don't like it. And I've read all the replys stefans stated. I still do NOT like go-karts. It ruins the whole storyline.

Its like emphisis leading OUT of the picture.

I have no problem with them, PROVIDED that they can not be taken off of an non-role-playing island.

Is there a thread stating that there is a non role playing island. And even so. Isn't the go-kart on the main land?

That's pretty much how I feel about it. From what I hear though, they won't be able to be taken off the one spot.

Yeah, I won't mind unless I see them drive by as we RP.. =\

The main island is the non rp island and there will be lots of minigames and things there for people who get bored from rping , ok?so live with it or start playing on providence or on the new kewl servers comming like graal2230 , Oasis and Murasamune

I sure have nothing against haveing lots of minigames just makes graal2002 funner , and when you wan't to rp you got 4other islands

Who plays mini-games just for fun?

Minigames are cool, but they can only be filler. The whole world must be fun, it can't be like a really dull cake full of delicious chocolate chips. The cake must all be delicious.

RPing *dosen't* get boring, it's always different and with real people. These mini-games just clog it all up.

I've made the presupposition that Graal 2001 is Graal's very own amusement park; seeing as how there is no real theme to it. Graal 2002 promises to be a role play server, not a graphically enhanced simulacrum of Graal 2001.

As you said, Graal2002 is supposed to be an RPing server... yet they are uning the very same features that made 2001 very non-RP.

all people care about on 2001 is making money and selling/buying hats ...

However, if it is said that their will be a non-RP island, then this should not provide a problem. The server should do quite well, if there isn't a strong accentuation upon the non-RP elements that may be innovative, or carried over from Graal 2001.

...yet there are still those that hold RPing above all else.

i definately need to meet those people ...

Ofcorse it dosen't. Stefan claims that they look more like medieval GoKarts, except for the fact that GoKarts are not medieval in any way or respect...

I just hope Go Karts don't become some insignifigant staple to the future worlds of Graal. :(

Stefan likes them, so they will probably stay forever. Or at least quite a long time... (sigh)

week later after everyone had made tracks and stuff they lost heavy interest...

Is stating my views on Go Karts fighting Stefan? I think not. Stefan is paid for a service, and I assume that with that service, he would appreciate feedback so he would know what, and what not is worthwhile to spend time on when maintaining Graal.

Well, in this case, it would be Stefan that is "dumm" seeing that he takes no notice of the fact that virtually no-one wants these flinstone cars... it is his choice if he wants them in the game, but, then again, it is also his choice if he wants to make a profit. A smart manager goes by the opinion of the consumer... the old phrase "the customer is always right" very much counts when it come to Graal. Look at how many people don't re-upgrade after their account expires. More than a few, and this is the result of the choices Stefan has made in the development of his game.

Just pretend the people on the island in which u don't even have to go to, are in 2001. ono lets cry because they have cool mini games and go-karts on a separate part of a server! MINIGAMES DO NOT!

Most people do NOT play servers for just "minigames" its community. I do NOT believe go-karts fit. If you don't agree with me. Thats fine. I'm my own self. I HATE go-karts almost. They ruin the whole setting of graal2k. Sure when your rping away its fun. Then all the sudden someone may pm you saying

"Hi liek dudz lets hav liek a kart rac"

No go karts.

Putting them in a "Dream land" kind of island is ok, but.. theres always going to be that thing that "bends" the rules a little.

That's what 2k1 is for.

Put all of your "fun stuff" there, so players can have "fun" riding those go-karts. (which nobody actually uses on 2k1)

Keep 2k2 a role playing server only; there will be bugs that will help figure out how to bring the go-karts to the main island.

They should make a seperate chat system also so we dont have to get anymore annoying PMs and mass messages. Also maybe completely get rid of it and use a different system to make it more realistic
