Umm question for Stefan...
 

Ok Stefan. I want it to be laid down, I want to know. How did ToT go up with 1 level as UC? How did X get online as UC? Frolic (when it first started)?

How?

Many times have I asked this question, but I never got a straight answer. Were you friends with the owners? Was it personel preferance? HOW? I fail to see this.

Frolic is doing alot better now, Faheria went UC from a great PW, but the rest (excluding ToT sence it is down) are just terrible. Once again:

Ok thank you. I ask this for a few reasons:

1) UC servers like Graal 2230, Oasis, and mine, should be going up to replace servers like X, which have shown no progress. Obviously we are WILLING and CAPABLE of creating something great, and unlike servers like X or Delteria or Valikorlia, we will stick with quality I think.

2) I for one have been with PWs for over a year now, I haven't given up. I think its obvious we will stick with it, and thats what UC is all about. Sticking with your PW, testing it online.

3) Graal will make alot more money I would say, once these servers are complete. Especially if you make it a hidden server and maybe you can select "other" from the PW list, type in some password, and it opens the PW. This way, it will keep the PWs which are UC hidden, as they should be.

4) Just imagine in a year Stefan, when these UC servers are near ready for release...imagine the hype it will create among the players! Imagine how many accounts will be upgraded JUST to play on these servers. Sure, they may not be official, but its for sure it can be just as good if not BETTER then "offcial" projects.

5) Current UC servers like Frolic and Faheria won't need to put up with nagging if we had a "other option" (that was beside the point).


Stefan, please, please consider it. You have some highly devoted, trust worthy server owners who would be working at 200% if they had it online. (I may have Murasamune online thanks to the kind Cybnext, but I can't do many things, and I disable things because of confrontations between Frolic and Murasamune).

Once again Stefan, consider it. I am not being hostile, I am not being rude. I am saying Stefan that only 3 servers would make a gigantic difference i the future of graal, and FAR more of a difference then current PWs.

These servers are the true meaning of what a UC server should be, and I have full faith fellow owners like Konidias and BirdBird would do wonderful online, and use it responsibly. As I think I would, heck, I still have the FTP pass for Faheria, and I haven't given it to ANYONE, I haven't deleted ANYTHING from faheria, and anything I made they still had. Even though I had FTP, I still had a bit of power, I never did anything because I kept my word with Shadrock...

That reminds me. I should have been an original member of the PW Team when it first started, but he didn't hire me. Oh well. :p

If Stefan reads this I would have a heart attack because Stefan never visits the playerworld forums. I don't see why he doesn't, they are very important in order to keep Graal going.

Every time I see him on the forums he is in General forums, staff forums, or bug reports.. that's like all he usually visits. :(

He was on Playerworlds for like a second yesterday.. lol.

Playerworlds dont matter, thats why. did you figure that out?

Reason why your server is not going up UC and X got to is because these servers show no progress so Stefan does not want to take chances for this to happen again. If he re-inbursts the rule then there will be playerworlds left and right wasting money and eventually get no fun anymore, after about a year stefan loses so much money then out goes graal, BUT I bet Unixmad pays for any loses but makes it back up in the profit. I always though Unixmad was the person who is keeping graal on it's feet. True or not Graal would waste so much bandwith and eventually like I said before, out goes graal.

Oh really? Playerworlds hold most of the players, without playerworlds, without the players help, graal would be nothing.

Yes but wouldnt playerworlds such as murasamune (sorry if spelled wrong) make players want to upgrade because they know its up and will eventually get to see it?

When i first got access to P2P the first things I did....

1. Went to G2k1
2. Went to Faheria
3. Then to Frolic,ToT,Bravo etc.

If people read on these forums about Murasamune,Oasis and Graal2230 they will want p2p just to play them. :rolleyes:

The thing is, most of the playerworlds made right now, are made form kids that get bord with playing graal, hey, thats what my attitude was when I tryed to make levels after playing graal for 3 weeks...

Personaly, I think 2230 is not nearly ready for it to go UC, maybe 2-4 weeks, than a month after that it would be ready for release.

I think, the way to get a server UC, is to have a good server plained out, than have everything you think you need done that does not require online testing or interface done already, after that, you submit it to the playerworld team or Stefan...

The way I think Val got up is, that the owner kept on asking Stefan for many many months, but, nothing got done between that time, so, bleh...

Its mainly the people's fualt for not making a good server, and I guess that Stefan probably just lowed his standard a bit too low, I duno, ITs 4 am and I can see the screen.. .NIGHT.

Thats why you need web site for the server showing off to people, giving links to projects.. thats a good idea actualy!

Maybe a part of the graalonline site dedicated to servers not up or uc, just links showing them to the site, and maybe that might seduce some futire p2p players... wait.. it could aslo be bad...

like I said, its late, I GO SLEPEYPOO... yes, faint memorys of my childhood... calign mikeymouse gaagaa..... yess... its all so clear now...

Hopefully these changes will be good changes.
Getting rid of playerworlds that have little on them, have very few players (players doesnt apply to p2p most are UC) and playerworlds that do not have the quality that wouild require them to pass the pw submission test if they had to submit to get online.
And hopefully the standards for playerworlds will be increased greatly.

As long as the change is for the better I really don't care what it is.

feel free to fix tdk's npc server.

they oncve you circled that were free were also in a different language, most of the people that play it are in a different time zone if you havnt noticed. The language says Deutsch (German).

Um Londeroth gets a lot of people, it's a german pw so it gets it's players at a different time.
