I dont know if this is offtopic or not, oh well.

A guy sets his banner to"APPLE PIES WITHOUT THE PIE PART FOR ONLY 8G!" and he puts up 4 apples for 8g? The banner clearly says that he will selling apple pies without the pie part, which is only apples. Then a police comes and says that that is a scam and he will jail the seller if he doesnt sell pie. So the seller puts up a pie for 9999g, yet he claims its still a scam since im not selling it for 8g...even though the banner says the sell is only selling pie-less apple pies for 8g. Is it a scam? Im having trouble figuring out this...


(oh and it ended by the seller changing the banner to "APPLE PIES FOR 9999G! JUST LIKE MOMMA USED TO SELL THEM FOR!")

Anyway, whether or not it's a scam depends on who was selling it....

What do you mean? Its still not a pie if it doesnt have the wheat. The pie part IS the wheat....by the way, what do you mean it depends on who was selling it?

People will see the apple pie part though. ODn't put something like apple pie in the banner name, if you are not selling one

No, if it's Karakaze or some guy who is known to scam, then it is a scam.

I said Apple Pie WITHOUT The pie part, it actually required reading skills to see the joke, bad thing is is the police that was on doesnt know what one is :( ...oh and if I put the word "Cowboy" in my banner I must sell a cowboy hat?

I dont mind that I had to change the banner, seeing as I wasnt jailed. Just imagine it was someone you didnt know selling them. Thanks for ruining the poll, btw. I was looking for actual answers instead of *cough*jack****cough* answers like some people put...

If you want to get all technical, yes it is a scam because he is selling pies for 9999g when it clearly states he is selling for 8g, but then again why would someone buy 4 apples for 2g each? That means you have to go make the pie and you'll end up with no profit. If your smart you would have bought the apples and made snowcones out of them for a whopping 4 gralat profit :rolleyes:

I think you misread that entirely... for one I put up the pie near the very end, and I sold the apples for 8 gralat a PEICE... and on and on but I dont feel like listing them now

The banner translated into "Selling apples for 8g"

Hero was selling apples for 8g.. thus, no scam.

However, the last time I checked, if you put your banner to a certain item at a certain price, like "Giving away free apples" and then you drop a few free apples and sell one for 1000 then THAT is a scam, because you mislead people to believing they were all free.. But if you don't have a banner and you do it, it's okay, because you never clarified how much you were selling your apples for.

But in this case it doesn't matter because he was selling the apples for how much he said he would sell them for.
