They like, raised the monthly price for the full year subscription by 75 US cents.

they should make one for like life time long but the prices are going up :(

Bah. Stefan is just trying to earn more money. I mean, compared to other online games, Graal is DIRT CHEAP. Lineage is like $15 US a month, and games like Ultima Online and Redmoon are around $10 US a month. A MONTH. Graal is a measly $3.25 a month now, which is CHEAP compared to other prices. I really don't understand why people complain so much...

Why do you think we got graal? Because it was dirt cheap. Now its like almost 3/4 the cost of other games (RuneScape is ex.)

I'm not sure if I will re-upgrade or not...
I have about 50 more days on this account.

I could go buy a CDROM game for 40 dolors instead of playing this game. So i will also not be re-upgrading.

He really shouldn't have changed the prices until 2k2 and some new pw's came out.. now people that run out of their account time won't have any reason to want to upgrade for any new stuff... =/

Graal costs money. Just like everything else. If you don't like that fact, go off into your perfect money free world. Otherwise, this is reality. Servers, bandwidth, it all requires money, something that Cyberjoueur apparently does not have enough of. If you want to keep playing Graal, and having fun, then pay, so that it can survive.

Otherwise, take your *****ing elsewhere.

It's extra bad since I'm in Canada, I make no money, I'd rather spend money on Gamecube games, and I wouldn't want to waste my parents' hard earned money so I guess I won't re-upgrade ?

Why pay money after all this time for Graal? What does it offer that many quality games dont? curuption? lol. Maybe if there was a package that was like Starcraft or one of those free online games(after you paid for the original game) then more people would pay for Graal. Theres many issues Stefan needs to fix but all he seems to do is work on new features/projects. If you dont like people saying that, then use the ignore button.

Well, maybe if we had customer support and GP/FAQ/RC/ETAdmins that were hand selected by Stefan, and most of the **** servers that no one go to (a waste of bandwidth) were gone, and 2001 had more content, and he wasnt doing this just so he could get himself GameCube with Halo AND 2 controllers(just a joke..), I would keep reupgrading.

I haven't decided whether I'll re-upgrade or not.
I have 239 more days left, so hopefully that will be enough time to at least try out some of the 'next generation pws'. If I like them, I'll re-upgrade.
If not, I won't.

But, if my account was to run out before the release of those PWs, I definately wouldn't upgrade.

Edit: And the new price has no effect on whether I will upgrade or not. 40 US Dollars isn't very much money, when considering the price of other online games.

You say that it will be better to buy a cdrom for this price ? When you buy a game on a cdrom you play how many hours with it ? 5, 10 perhaps 20 hours !

Compare whith graal where you play 3 hours/day it mean you play minimum 40 hours/ months (400 hours/year) and you don't want to pay 40$ for a game where you put 100X more of your time than on the Cdrom.

When you pay for graal you support a small team of guys that try to make your time more fun, when you pay for cdrom it mostly go on the pocket of very big company like Microsoft that really don't mind about you, they just think that if they do good graphics and a good marketing you will be stupid enough to buy the product and put on bench after a few hours.
