Val needs our FTP Changed..ASAP ( Stefan PLEASE read)
 

As some of you might have known our FTP was given out to a player who was pretending to be our great owner Virtue and Stefan gave the FTP password to him. But we have been just playing along like nothing happened. Well then just today people were putting NPC's on levels that messed with the server and well disconnected them. We know who did this and we caught them. But to stop thing from happening AGAIN. We need the FTP changed...

And PLEASE this time make sure it is the right person

Why you need an FTP password change is beyond me.

It's totally not necessary with the new RC, which you should be using.

We do use the new RC but I, who is allowed to have FTP access, can still use WS_FTP to upload things...

Like I said, why you're using FTP programs is still beyond me. It's worthless.

Other people use the File manager but I use WS_FTP because File Manager takes forever and a day to load for me.

But to be honest that isn't my biggest concern we just do need our FTP changed. Because other FTP programs can be used.

You're not SUPPOSED to use other FTP programs anymore.

Using the new RC FTP means you have ultra security. By using old FTP and actually giving the password to people, it's your own fault. :T

But if we are supposed to use the filemanager, why would stefan give the FTP password to someone? :megaeek:

It was before Filemanager became available.
