Another Major Ip Problem
The error that Maximus posted is happening to a lot of people, i am in the 64.xx.xx.xx range and i also can't get on any graal hosted material other that using a proxy to make this post or proxy to download new versions. The problem with this ip ban i that the ranges of time warner cable have been banned so everyone banned has a static ip. Do you have any suggestions as something i or we can do or are we just supposed to wait until you fix something?

Um the connection can be established so it only
seems to be a problem with accessing www.graalonline.com You can see http://europa1.legende.net? |
I can also see http://europa1.legende.net/ through a proxy, but not just normally, if i try without a proxy i get
Cannot find server or DNS Error Internet Explorer whereas if i go to www.graal2001.com i get We can't find "www.graal2001.com". Did you intend to go to one of these similar Web addresses? www.graal2001.com i don't kno wif that means anything to you, just thought i should tell it |
Have you tried to configure the proxy?
|
???
I don't know what you mean by that. I don't normally run througha proxy, i have roadrunner cable, the only time i ever use one is to post on this website and to download the new setup files, if you are talking about a way to play graal through a proxy please tel, but otherwise, i am just using a random public proxy which i turn off when i'm done posting and i have no idea what you're talking about
|
Couldn't find an error so you gave up? sux to be me
|
Try turning the proxy off and then doing the tracert, since you want to see what is normally blocking you.... Do you have a firewall enabled on your computer? Because if you can connect to graal but the firewall is blocking the graal program, it won't work. Play around with a lot of things until you are sure it is the server that is the actual problem.

hmmmmm...
well, i thought really hard and i decided the only thing that could be screwing me up other thatn the server was zonealrm which i had uninstalled earlier. If you've ever used zonealarm you know when you uninstall it it screws up your internet. Well, it wasn't zonealarm stopping me from connecting, but something was wrong with the traceroute, so here's the real one...
I traced graal2001 cause it was easier to remember, but at one time i traced europa with the same resutls, tell me to do it again if you need it for some reason, also my ip isn't logged because i'm using a cgi proxy so, i'll give it to you 65.29.28.62, my static changes every 5 months or so, last time i posted it was 65.29.28.10 C:\WINDOWS>tracert www.graal2001.com Tracing route to graal2001.com [195.219.57.15] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 9 ms 8 ms 9 ms 10.39.64.1 2 12 ms 11 ms 12 ms 24.26.161.123 3 12 ms 12 ms 13 ms mplsmn01-rtr1-pos-2-0.mn.rr.com [24.26.161.1] 4 24 ms 14 ms 14 ms acr2-sonet2-1-0-0.minneapolis.cw.net [208.174.1. 129] 5 42 ms 43 ms 43 ms agr3-loopback.washington.cw.net [206.24.226.103] 6 41 ms 47 ms 42 ms dcr2-so-6-2-0.washington.cw.net [206.24.238.185] 7 119 ms 120 ms 122 ms bcr2.thamesside.cw.net [166.63.210.62] 8 118 ms 118 ms 118 ms zcr1-so-1-0-0.londonlnt.cw.net [166.63.209.198] 9 122 ms 121 ms 119 ms zpr1-ge-1-3-0.londonlnt.cw.net [166.63.222.152] 10 120 ms 140 ms 121 ms cable-and-wireless-peering.londonlnt.cw.net [195 .10.35.94] 11 131 ms 135 ms 130 ms if-4-0.core2.london.teleglobe.net [195.219.96.70 ] 12 130 ms 131 ms 130 ms if-1-0.core2.london2.teleglobe.net [195.219.96.1 22] 13 130 ms 131 ms 131 ms if-6-0.core2.paris2.teleglobe.net [195.219.15.23 7] 14 129 ms 130 ms 131 ms vlan3.msfc1.paris2.teleglobe.net [195.219.15.170 ] 15 * * * Request timed out. 16 * * * Request timed out. 17 * * * Request timed out. 18 * * * Request timed out. 19 * * * Request timed out. 20 * * * Request timed out. |
Yes this time it seems to be our network who is blocking it,
I will ask unixmad to fix it |
I guess those last couple of hops where it says Request Timed Out were more of a stumble...roll..hit the nearest light pole huh
