About the Level Editor.
Maybe there should be something in the options, like "Use Scroll Bars" that people can checkbox? That way, people that like the little guy the best can use him, and the people that like the scroll bar the best can use it.
Just a thought. |
i like this idea
the best of both worlds! |

I remember when I first starting using computers...I DIDN'T HAVE A MOUSE :p |
I never use the scroll bar one =/ I hated the new one when it first came out now I think that it is a lot faster than the old one :-)
I think that it is better but I never really make levels, I just script so =/ |
Scrollbars were handy. What happens if you select an object, then realize you're too far off to one direction and need to move the man left? Keys won't work, it just scrolls through the object. Drag the graalian then? But your mouse is already occupied holding the object. Mouse to the edge of the screen and have it autoscroll? It can't anymore....
if it autoscrolled that'd be cool, and if the man didn't do that loading studder every time you keydown it'd be nice...=_= |
I've had the same problem as Tyhm. I think the little guy can come in handy now and then, but I think you should be able to choose.

it be good if maybe it had the scrollbars and the lil guy
both being check box so you could have whichever one you wanted on but i also think it would be a nice feture to add maybe something like if the right mouse button is clicked down a 4 way arrow cursor appears then you can scroll with that (kinda like the 3rd button on mouses that allows fast scrolling) |

Among all of this one other thing must be added...M!
Right now, maps cannot be made using this new version and the old version locks when searching through large directories :( |

scrollbars on IE still work, and the width and height of each page varies greatly, it's simple really, the more levels you load, the scrollbar does the shrinking thing, (assuming Stefan can code that) |
Goober. It loads a non-finite number of connected levels.
