She hasn't been online for about 2 weeks. There are about 10 people that tell me that they were hired as FAQ or Newbie Helpers (Cadets), but I can't confirm it and ask to have their tags made becasue Lyndzey hasn't told me about them. I can't hire FAQ unless she's online, which she hasn't been, and we need more FAQ.
ShadowFox and Stefan haven't replied to my email to each of them regarding it.
So, does anyone have any sort of contact with her?
If not, I think she needs to be replaced. I'm not say I should replace her, infact I don't care who does, but we do need a Chief.

Yes, there's around 20 people that keep tellingme that they were tested and wanted to know if they were hired.
I can test you, but I can't hire you wihtout a Chief online.

Yes. I don't see GM's telling you how to complete the Firey Avenger quest on Everquest....

We don't tell epople how to finish quests, we might give hints on where to find a quest, but thats it. And any FAQ that has been acting as a walkthru shouldn't be.

Me too, I've got my Asst. Faq Chief job, I've got the tutorial world project to work on, and after I get the tutorial world up and running, i need to get some work done on the bomy caverns and the Bomy Gang website.

You've told me that before, and so has everyone else. But I can't take charge unless Stefan or ShadowFox authorizes me to do so.

Once they notice all of the effort you are putting into all of those things, they'll wake up and put you where you belong

well, i think you do more then lyndezey anyways, TAKE CHARGE!!

When feeding is up, I'll make a place to buy bomy food or apples (if apples, they'll be more expensive than what you get for selling them, so people dont make money buy buy and selling them). And I'll put it next to the daycare, and fix up the daycare so pets will stop going thru the racing doors. Also I'll going to fix the doors in racing, I found out why people where having trouble bouncing on links. Stefan had changed them after I sent in the update and it screwed them up.

Even wether or not I do take charge. I'll still have to tend to the tutorial world, so I don't know if I'll be able to do my FAQ job on 2001.

If SSmutz takes FAQ Chief then Im next in line for FAQ Asst. Chief ;)

I think if you made a list of all the staff, then listed who is doing their job and who isn't, you would see why nothing gets done.

I just can't see why the problem hasn't been fixed.

(Stefan, if you don't have the time to look over the staff, please hire someone that will. This is a huge problem, and it really needs to be fixed.)

FAQ isn't very important, we really need a second guild administrator and some more people with FTP access, do you know how hard it is to get updates uploaded these days? You have to practically harass to get it done!

A person upgrades an account. This person logs on graal mainserver for the first time. He walks around for hours, not having a clue on what to do. When he asks people for help they call him a "newbie" and start attacking him. Then he looks at his playerlist and notices the words (FAQ) behind a persons name. Hmm could this stand for "Frequently asked questions"? So the person PMs the FAQ person, and in 10 minutes time, the FAQ person explains mining, fishing and farming. Now this new player knows how to make money, and knows alot more about the server then he did an hour ago.

Now, would this person think that FAQ is useless?

I think FAQ deserves more credit then it's given.

No they wouldn't think it is useless. I know what FAQ is for and I know it does its job well (from my experience) but I'm just trying to think in terms of what is most important vs. least important. It isn't like we're getting slews of new subscribers :( Not only that, but there are other friendly people out there (not only FAQ members are nice, ya know)

Not to mention, if someone needed that info they could just visit http://www.graalnet.net and find all of the mentioned fishing, mining, farming, etc! hehehe
